I'm Jewish not secular but not Orthodox Thank you to Lubavitch for being accepting of all Jews regardless of dress or hair covering or (no hair covering) If you live or visit in an area in the world where there is no Jewish life at all and there is just a Chabad you will be welcomed regardless of dress. I went to a Chabad center which was small and not too many Jews came but was welcomed and it was a great experience. Shabbat Shalom to you and my fellow Jews. Thanks
I have not understood how covering the hair with hair falls under the reason for hair covering in the first place. I thought if a woman is married she must cover her hair to not allow bring men to be tempted. However if the man sees her "hair" and it looks real isn't she still tempting the men? I am NOT judging just needing some clarification please and thank you.
it is not necessarily about temptation of other men. It is about keeping the intimacy with the husband pure. another example is Yichud, an man and woman who aren't married can't be alone together. A consequence of this is that it protects the man and woman from getting hurt or accused of something they did not do. But that isn't the point of the rule. The point is to protect the importance and the intimacy of a husband and wife being alone together.
