I appreciate that she advises she's not a professional. Too many people on RU-vid act like they went to cosmetology school and using unsafe practices. I love her work though!
4:03 I was surprised to hear you say that you aren't a professional. I'm a retired hairstylist I did it professionally for 16 years. Regardless of having the license you know hair color I could tell when you used a 10 volume developer. This is a 613 you don't need to lift the color just deposit so either a demi Permanent or a permanent color with 10 volume is perfect minimize the damage to the hair. Here is a bit of color theory not that I feel you need it. Color hair goes from 10 to 1. 1 is black and 10 is a white blonde. When you held up the bottles you had a 6NN and an 8N. The 6NN is a medium blonde to a light brown and a 8N is a light blonde. The numbers are the level of darkness. The letters are the tone of the color. N stands for Neutral which is also perfect because a 613 is brassy and the neutral tones will counteract the orange tones in the wig. there is also W-Warm, V-Violet, G-Gold, R-Red, A-Ash etc. So if you got a 3 VR in wig world that would be similar to a 99J the hair color is dark the tone cool burgundy because of the violet mixed with the red. I have health issues which has caused thinning hair and a bald spot right in the middle. So RU-vid has been very helpful with learning wigs. Great work I love the ombre effect you got. I'm subscribing because you are a very talented person. I've know license stylist that don't understand color the way you do. A license is a piece of paper the knowledge is more important.

DAAAAAAAYYUUUUUUUMMM! This looks gorgeous. I am a professional, and you did a great job on the color. I couldn't tell if you did this, but a pro tip is to vary how low you bring down the darker root color per section so it diffuses the line between the darker and lighter colors all over the head and creates beautiful dimension. When you stagger and brick lay them it gives a nice variety. And you did a great job melting the two together so none of this I'm learning lol And the finished result is very luxurious :-)
This is such a great tutorial from start to finish! At our wig and topper company we're always trying to improve our practices to provide the best pieces we can!
That was amazing! I am so impressed. You are really talented and creative. I'm just sitting here watching RU-vid and came across your video. So many interesting creative people. I really enjoyed this.

I love the color. Also ur really pretty. Question: this all seems like a lot of work. I think I’m just too lazy. Do you feel it’s all worth the time and effort? How long do ur wigs last?
