When Sam McKee says :"What a raace!" it gives me chills. Those three words, spoken after this race, need to be part of his Hall of Fame induction. They should have audio for all to see. He better get in the Hall of Fame.
I was coming to say the same thing. Those might be the greatest harness announcer words of all time, when you consider how passionate and pure it was in the moment.
Life Sign Jug was equally amazing. Somebeachsomewhere getting beat by Art Official in the Meadowlands Pace has to be a bit higher, and way back when when Dragons Lair beat Nihalator is an all-timer. Throw in Jennas Beach Boy 147.3 in the Driscoll, beating Riyahdh, and you have the races that destroyed a lot of young lives by hooking them on horse-racing gambling...haha.
Best jug off all time, and we will not see Jugs like this anymore...Jug 2017 will suck, as only one div. and everybody comes back for final. John made so much money racing like this, but now as head of Hambo, we cant do this anymore. Sport needs history, but harness racing does not see the fact, that the sport is dying. Casino!!!
