This came out really pretty. Also, you have 3c/4a hair, not 4c. I love my hair, which is 4c, but I actually would love to have your hair type because there's so many more extensions available in that type as opposed to 4c hair.
Yea, my hair is kind of like that too, the nape of my neck is the softer pattern and least dense so my hair resembles 3c when wet when really it’s a 4a and the crown is more 4b/c Every where else like the back of her head that’s more dense and tighter. Also you have to take in account surface texture and porosity. Her surface texture may be softer hence why she can get visible definition as opposed to someone with the same curl pattern but coarser hair.
