How to fix wii remote not syncing: Unplug the wii for 2 minutes at least, plug it in and then turn the wii on. Connect by pressing the red button on your wii remote. It should start flashing for about 30 secs or so. Then, while its flashing, press the red button on your wii console, open the flap under the reset button to find it. once you have done that continously press 1 and 2 at THE SAME TIME 10 times then press power button on top left of remote, press the A button.
Thank u so much for that sgreen4. I woke up this morning with my mom trying to get the remote to work. We pressed everything but it just kept flashing. I swear I did everything I could possibly think of. Took out the battery, pressed red buttons, pressed all the buttons on the remote, turned Wii on and off. Then did what u said and it worked!!!! My mom is so happy. She had to watch Netflix on her small tablet for like 30 mins. Not fun.
I had that problem too, all you gotta do is turn off your Wii, then un-plug it from the outlet. Then plug it back in and turn on your wii. When you get to the black safety screen, hold down the red button on the wiimote and console like you were doing and it should connect ;) hope I helped

you have to click on both the wiimte and on the wii at the same tima three times , i had the same problem and now my wiimote is working perfectly , thank you " charle Mendoza "
try this: open the back of the wiimote (where batteries go) take your hand and roll the batteries back and forth when you think you've done it enough, put the cover back on and try it. this method cleans the contact plates on the batteries and creates a charge with the batteries, therefore turning the remote on. you're welcome.
If it didn’t originally come with that wii I suggest disconnect all the remotes and press 1 and 2. I use a pink remote which can only be used by the disconnecting
@@user81222. I have the same problem, I tried resyncing my remote and the wii console and nothing works, I also replaced the old batteries with some new ones and cleaned the remote, nothing seems to work but I still want it to turn on
i know this is a video from 09 but i found corrosion in mine, cleaned it with a q tip and it broke off the connecting fuse so it me be a bad fuse which means youll probably need to solder and wick
Thank u soooo much!!! I have been trying to figure what has been hapening for weeks now! Your comment has helped me tremendously! I will give a thumbs up!
Im in the wiilanguage setup im trying to press english but none of the button will work even if it did at the beggning? do you need the sensor bar to get the remotes to work?
After you hit the red button and the remote is flashing, hit the 1 and 2 buttons AT THE SAME TIME. Sorry, I don't mean to yell, but I was quite frustrated too. After months of aggravation this reset ALL 4 of my controllers.
In the battery case of the remote, there is a red button. Also, inside the front cover of the Wii Console, there is a red button that says sync. In order to sync the remote, you must press the red buttons at the same time. Then, the remote should connect.
I was able to sinc the new remote, but can't get the arrow to show up on tv screen. It will only go left and right in the same row (clicking the remote L and R buttons).
I just bought a wii and says they take AA batteries. I put them in but there is to much space , like it needs a longer battery. What do i need? Im so confused
You have to press the synchronize button at the same time for 20 minutes and if it does not synchronize, it is that the control or the console is failing with Bluetooth
I have two wiimotes that have been working fine before, but now they won't even blink. I was playing a game, then the one I was using shorted out. I figured that it needed new batteries, so I procurred some. But when I went to turn on the Wii, the Wiimote would not even blink a light, neither would. I've tried pressing the sync buttons, pressing 1 + 2, unplugging/plugging back in the Wii, still no responce, blue light up, nothing at all. Help?
What works for me is pressing the reset button on both my wii and wii remote at the same, and while I'm pressing those buttons click the 1 and 2 buttons aswell
My problem is different. Mine syncs but only the right and left buttons next to the home button work on the wii mote. No scrolling, no A or B. I tries syncing but it refuses to budge.
what you should do is turn on the wii and use a working remote then go to the wii settings and press the wii remote options then press reconnect/re synic
first, press the red button on the back on the wiimote--should NOT be more than 3 seconds!! second, press the sync button at the front of the console. I hope this helps :P
I literally have the exact same problem. My Wiimote is fully charged keeping both buttons(Console and remote)pressed at the same time, but nothing happens
If happens you uninsert your sd card while off, turn on press reset once then when on channel viewer turn on remote, it will auto sync like it was, after fixed you insert card back in ofc
You may have to go to the MII CHANNEL and go through the menus until see one that has a WII REMOTE logo. Then it should mention something about transferring WII REMOTES from other WIIS to connect to your own WII. Hope it works for you!
I had 2 Wii Controllers and they worked fine but one of them was stolen the one that was stolen had a wrist strap and the one that I still have has no wrist strap
and if that doesn't work, open the front of the wii (SD card slot and sync button) open the back of the remote, and press the sync button on both the remote and the console at the same time, the wii remote and console should flash. you're welcome.
I have the solution to the problem. Don't forget to go back in the box and put the sensor to the back of the Wii. Put it on the top of your television, you can't sync without it.
Hi, i have figured out how to fix this problem. What you have to do is press RESET on your console and then try to sync it. Try that a few times and if it doens't work at all, I don't really know what to say to you.
¡Help! my Wiimote is disconnecting at mid action, I am in a game and it disconnects and starts syncing, i just bought some batteries but it still won't stay connected help!!!
I did this video to show the product issue to the supplier. They sent my money back and I got another. Unfortunatelly the remote is still broken at my house.
press the button on the wii for ten seconds and at the same time you press it at that moment press the one on the remote and hold down for both 10 seconds. with new batteries if this wont work.
im having a problem. my remote is working fine, but the bluw lights flash off if i sqeeze it in a certain spot. forgot too add that it turns back on when i press it. pls help.
this is what you do first go into a game then press the start button and then press 1 and 2 on the wii remote and it should flash and stay on and stop flashing and one light will be on
I already changed the batteries, I tried syncing it over 5 times already, and I unplugged the console for 10 seconds and plugged it back in. Nothing worked. I have two wiis, 1 white and 1 blue. There's two remotes for each, a blue and pink remote for the blue console and a white and black remote for the white console. The pink and blue remotes didn't work with the blue console, so I tried the black and white remotes for the white console and they worked perfectly. I synced the black remote to the blue console and once I did it stopped working. The problem for me is not the wii remotes because they all work fine with the white console, it is the blue one that is giving me problems and I really don't know how to fix it.
