Officer Big Mac appeared frequently in McDonald's promotianal materials in the 1970's and 1980's but he was dropped following the 1980's streamlining of the McDonaldland characters.@@AngieMarioFreak2001
I not only never knew about that easter egg, I didn't even know you could launch the ball on top of the barrier! This is a bit validating for me in that I have been able to down all the pins in the last round with a regular shot, though I swung my arm with so much force I nearly hyperextended it.
+Hotpies Even though we know the game is tool assisted and therefore will likely achieve some sort of ridiculous perfection (as it does), most of us are thinking back to our own unlucky experiences with bowling, either in real life or in the game. Even though we know this tool-assisted video won't fail, it seems so close to failure so many times that it sets us up to expect a failure that never occurs. Being prepared for something to go bad even when it actually doesn't and we know it won't is actually a common symptom of anxiety.
There's also the completely TASed af version, where the ball flies around, jump between lanes, and completely miss the pins but still strikes in replay. I'm not entirely sure how that works, but if I remember correctly they use a certain tool to edit values and replay data. So probably not *technically* possible in regular play but great meme nonetheless. EDIT: Oh nvm, it was by the same guy, posted a few months later w
As your ears suddenly start to ring, getting louder and louder each second, an explosion happens, there is a hole in your ceiling, you look down in front of you, there is a wii remote, you pack up your wii stuff when you realize that you now have another wii remote. The one that was on the ground is beat up, with the strap in perfect condition, you think to yourself, whoever used this didn't read the instructions manual.
Partially incorrect, a bot is NOT used to do this, but it is done by the player (using an emulator) slowing down and rewinding the game in order to get a desirable outcome (in this case getting all strikes)
Wow, look at that spin! I always enjoyed Wii Sports bowling when at our godparents' house. Impressive to see just what can be done when you've got frame-perfect inputs to guide the ball.
@@FoxDren Yes, but.... manually tweaking the accelerometer inputs for a full swing of the arm? I don't even know what sort of math the game must do for converting that to actual physics data for the ball....
You know, I really like Wii Sports. Something about the atmosphere and natural feel to the world just relaxes me. Especially the golf and cycling sports.
1:07 this is just the worst. I always wanted to have some kind of tool that made my wii sports bowling game perfect, but after seeing this shot specifically I realize that this is a Jurassic Park situation where a dream come true scenario will actually ruin everything that you've ever loved and progress is really the enemy.
