Great game. Purchased it while it was on sale at the eshop and it was more than worth it.

Played this from my laptop on my big screen at 1080p. Hands down the best looking game to ever grace my TV. The art, styling and overall visual design are on a totally different level of creativeness and beauty than anything else.

"It will still be the same" That's like saying Ninja Gaiden 3: RE will be the same as Ninja Gaiden 3 for 360/PS3...

The gameplay is awesome. You switch between a wizard, an archer and a warrior to solve puzzles and such.

if they keep getting more so good downloadable titles like this one for their e-shop this thing could really get going in the indie department, just think about how many great gameplay opportunities the system offers for indie devs :)

Its 3 months later, and I have gotten my Wii U, and aside from Nintendo land (very fun), this was the first game I purchased, and may I say this did not disappoint in the least, with innovative level design, clever puzzles mixed with so gorgeous and vivid landscapes! Truly this game is a masterpiece to behold and I recommend this to not only be in any Wii U owners collection, but displayed as a benchmark, and a trophy to a pleasant future, to the Wii U, and FrozenByte respectably.

If they think that by focusing on 720p and a certain framerate to get a certain experience, than that’s ultimately how they make their decisions. We might consider using 1080p, but, for example, if we want to get 60 fps, at a particular stage of development, it may seem 720p is more realistic." NSMB U, Pikmin 3, and NintendoLand, all 720p.

The game looks gorgeous. Amazing how the world of gaming is changing so fast. And I am not only talking about this game. No. I am talking about all of the WII U upcoming games that is announced or yet to be announced.

Wii U is just like a larger DS ... Mario chase, luigi's haunted mansion these two games are awesome for family when i got my wii u we played these two games for hours and hours such a laugh

Considering that this was developed on an earlier Wii U dev kit which was under clocked and not developed on the final Wii U console which is more powerful, I would say that's a good thing. :)

Wii U's got lots of games coming to it. I don't know why Nintendo made the pickings looks so meager in their presentation. By the time the Wii U launch rolls around that launch line up is gonna be packed. Something for everybody.

I think Nintendo should hire these guys to make a old-school, side-scrolling Metroid game. While I've only played the demo of Trine 2 on PSN, I can see that Frozenbyte is very good at side-scrollers.

I think the FPS genre is certainly needed on every console, mostly because that's what's in right now. Back in the days of the SNES, it was platformers that were popular. Now, it's FPS games.

This looks absolutely gorgeous. I just read this game has been out other places for awhile and I'm embarrassed I've never heard of it before now. I'll have to rectify that when it is released on the WiiU.

Well the funny thing is there are no art requirements. I already talked to them and they said even if you uck at drawing, you can still ace the course the same way anyone else does. It's about how well you understand your drawing, not how other people understand them. And they train you to draw (and the course usually gets you to be a pretty good artist). And with the courses I am taking, I can get between 20 and 55 dollars an hour. (20 at first, then like 45 at bethesda or activision

No, Some other games on the PS3 also run at 1080P (WipeoutHD for one) and it has been confirmed that the Wii U games that have been shown at E3 will only be 720P.

I was planing to download this one for my Xbox 360, I already did download the demo a few months ago, but I think I'll just wait for the Wii U version. A side-scrolling platformer with beautiful graphics and innovative gameplay with extra content on a innovative console made by a the videogame company I associate with innovation and solid side-scrolling platformers... A match made in heaven!

Consoles are always around 1-2 years behind top-of-the-line PCs at launch. Yes, that includes the 360 and ps3, believe it or not.

If Nintendo puts out some of the classic 2d's like Metroid and Castlevania, or a new birds eye Zelda like Link to the Past with the beauty of Trine 2, Nintendo would sell more systems than ever. The gameplay was always amazing in those games and they could due plenty of new things with the Touch Screen. I cant wait to see what they come up with.

This sort of reminds me of The Revenant starring Leonardo DiCaprio.

I don't know too much about building PCs, but from what I do know about console hardware is that for the most part, companies tend to not use up to date hardware mainly because of how expensive it is. Take into account the PS3, most powerful console this generation but at what price? It started off at $599 because really that's how high Sony needed to price it at to sell at a profit, but soon realized they needed to sell at a loss.

I feel the same way; I'm 16 too, and I'm getting the Wii U for sure.

WARNING! this game is Very beautiful but also VERY hard in the later levels. It requires quick reactions and to be good or at least decent at platform games. But it is still one of my favorite games of all time

Ya ik. And ya thats sick. I've worked with big publishers already, but i've only done tiny little projects. Like fixing glitches, or updating websites for them, adjusting firmware. I don't do anything in design or deep programming yet. I started when I was in grade 6 lol. I already worked with companies like Habbo Hotel if you have heard of that game before. I designed a large portion of what is now known as "Wired furni" in that game. And they would pay me, and I got 70% off credits.

This game is a downloadable title and a definiete sign that Nintendo is stepping up their game on the online front!

Well, the Wii U is supposed to have the new "Nintendo Network" so hopefully, that means full online multiplayer for games like Metroid, ect...

The only game that I'm aware of that is true 1080p in my PS3 is the God of War collection. All my other games seem to be only 720p. The Wii U as far as I'm aware will output all (or most) games in 1080p.

Nintendo should get these guys to make a new classic style Metroid game.

Sony & Microsoft = pretty graphics/ Little Game play (not 3rd Party games). Nintendo =Enjoyment/ no left out on the fun/ a great time for everyone/ interaction with the game. first time ever 1 - 5! on one system!!! WII U is going to be classic. it's the Super NES of this new Gen.

and the price is around $250 XD triple win for me great games so far, great graphics, and great gameplay.

I know the games not new, but I'm saying we don't know how it will play with the Upad. That controller can make a lot of difference.

Actually no...all Wii U launch titles are confirmed (by Nintendo) to be running in 720p, but some of them, like Pikmin 3, will run in 60fps.

I'm not sure what the differences are with NG 3 and NG 3: RE, but I'm sure they will play the same also (keyword: play). I'm sure NG 3 RE will have some new content as well as Trine 2 DC, but I believe the core gameplay will "play" the same (minus some touch and gyro controls here and there).

If there is additional content, I hope it comes as a DLC to PC version of the game

The art style was a little messy in the first game, but they've sure as hell pulled it together brilliantly in the sequel. I wonder in Nintendo are in any way financing some of this "Director's Cut," or the team themselves just wish to be there with the game.

I like to think of PCs and consoles seperately, especially in the case of Nintendo. All of those awesome Nintendo games will never be *legally* playable on PC.

It's a good game. It's already out on PC and ps3.

It is true that the Wii U is more powerful than the PS3 and the others (already know), but what I am saying is that no matter how powerful graphics have or whatever, the gameplay will always be important, as in the Godfather the gameplay on the Wii was the largest compared to the other versions, as happens now in the Wii U with Ninja Gaiden 3 and Batman Arkham City, the Wii U obviously improved graphics, but there comes a time when the that nobody cares what you get is you to play.

thing is Wiiu at it's best could provide us with the equivalent of high settings quality on PCs(not high end or maxed out), which is pretty good and would look noticeably better than 360 and ps3...

I can say the Wii U is definitely more powerful than MY PC, but that's because I have a fucking Pentium 4 (well, at least it's a Northwood), a seven-year-old motherboard, and an eight-year-old video card. High-end PCs are a completely different story.

nintendo said wiiU can do 1080p 60 frames but they said to be safe they rather do native 720p and make sure all games run 60 frames...but they said 3rd party developers can do 1080p if they want thats just nintendos rule
