Zant looks like an awesome and hilarious character to play as.

I wish they would have used Zant’s personality from the beginning of Twilight Princess instead. That loud shrieking noise and his seriousness were super iconic.

Glad to see Zant make a return to the franchise. It always bums me out how whenever there's a video on here involving Zant, nearly thousands of people line up to go on and on and complain about how they don't like him or they think he's silly. He's not really silly, not when you actually think about it. His childlike behavior towards the end of Twilight Princess is a perfect way to showcase his raging psychosis in a minimalist fashion. The plot twist that this cold, calculating warlord is actually just an angry, insecure lunatic who can hardly keep his composure when faced with actual confrontation without being assured victory was totally well done and even welcomed as well as unnerving. It was refreshing to see that Zelda, despite being so formulaic over and over, can still manage to give its characters surprising depth and personality. Ghirahim doesn't achieve this. Sure, his twist was neat, I guess. But there's nothing to the character. He's just "creepy" for the sake of being "creepy". And it's such a generic overused style of creepy that we've seen thousands of times already in video games and anime. With Zant we actually got a glimpse of realistic mental illness and instability portrayed with grim and over the top fantasy. People say they wish Zant stayed the cold, calculating, tough as nails warlord character, but isn't that just Ganondorf? Sorry, we've seen it done a bunch already. Maybe I'm just crazy for celebrating good character design instead of clamoring for the same character tropes over and over again.

Remember was Zant was kind of creepy, then right before you fight him he turned into just a weird guy. He's like that crazy guy on a bus shouting things now.

YES! Zant is one of my favorite villains period, and I'm so happy that he is playable in this game, so we can see him more in action! I hope he is apart of the story. He is a playful, badass villain, and I absolutely loved him in Twilight Princess. I'm probably going to use him the most.

Zant. The most psychotic character Nintendo has ever scraped out of the people who brought to you the Great Fairies and Tingle.

Anyone remember how Zant was this really dark, imposing figure in Twilight Princess, but when you actually go up against him he just goes crazy for no reason? That sudden 180 degree turn in personality always threw me off, and didn't make much sense to me.

Ever since I first fought Zant in Twilight Princess, I instantly wanted to play as him. I didn't care if it was through smash bros or something else, I just wanted him as a playable character. And now.......Nintendo or rather Tecmo Koei has granted that wish :D

He's CRAAAAAAZY.

The only thing I'm worried about with Zant is when his invincibility runs out during his combos, because during his laugh at 0:36 he clearly got hit at least 3 times (just as an example). So hopefully his invincibility runs out after he finishes his laughing, otherwise he could take quite a bit of damage.

Just because I know this will appear again (just as it has in every other video), this is a showcase of the *CHARACTER'S MOVESET*, not the gameplay itself! So don't complain about it looking as easy as a chicken pot pie, they did that on purpose so the combos didn't get interrupted. This is probably easymode, whereas normal and hard mode is extremely harder.
