Wii U - Mario Kart 8: DLC Pack 1 Overview 

Who decided to come back here after the 8 deluxe booster course expansion announcement?

Any other game company would be like: "Character pack - 7.50$" "New vehicles - 10.00$" "Four New courses - 15.00$" "Eight new courses - 30$" "Bundle pack - 35.00$" "Season pass - 30$" Thank you nintendo for doing DLC right for the first time in history. Take notes game developers.

All this for $8, good job Nintendo. This is how DLC is supposed to be.

Captain Falcon and Kirby should've replaced Cat Peach and Tanooki Mario ;~;

I still can't believe they thought of Tanooki Mario and Cat Peach for DLC characters. Like, "We get a shot at bringing more characters for the DLC! Who should we bring?" "Link from Zelda?" "That's brilliant! Who else?" "More Mario and Peach?" "BRILLIANT"

Now we can play as Mario, Baby Mario, Metal Mario, and Tanooki Mario! The same goes for Peach as well! Oh, the variety!

I still can't over how sick that Excitebike remix is.

WAIT. The minekarts in Wario's Goldmine give you speedboosts now? I WELCOME THIS CHANGE WHOLEHEARTEDLY.

It is crazy to look at the quality of this compared to their new DLC on the Switch.

I think the Mario and peach outfits could have worked like the yoshi color changes.

I remember playing Mario Kart 64 back in the day for the first time thinking "this game is amazing, it can't possibly get any better than this"... I was wrong.

The one thing that annoys me is, why did they think we needed MORE Mario's and MORE Peach's? We already have Mairo, Metal Mario, Baby Mario, now Tanooki Mario? Already had Peach, Baby Peach and Pink Gold Peach (Dumbest character ever) seriously NO MORE CLONES.

I'm so excited for this pack. Nintendo's DLCs are always awesome. Instead of giving you an incomplete game, with DLC to complete it, Nintendo gives you a complete game and DLC is completely optional, but always awesome. Keep it up!

They completely missed the chance for Excitebike Racer and Captain Falcon.

I'm so glad they used Link's Skyward Sword voice clips.

The tanooki mario and cat peach should've been just an alternative skin like shy guys and yoshi's, could've put zelda and captain falcon in the roster. Still the bundle is worth every penny.

Why are Tanooki Mario and Cat Peach not just alternate costumes?

Tanooki Mario & Cat Peach should of been replaced with Diddy Kong and King Boo! Maybe even Kirby.

How cool is the fact that we have THREE Rainbow Roads now?!

The Blue Falcon and Mute City, but no Captain Falcon!?

These had so much more effort and care put into them.

This makes me feel like I'm back in the Windows 95 times, buying expansion packs that actually brought new stuff at reasonable prices.

sonic in mario kart 8 with green hill zone and instead of coins or rupees it would be ring and instead of the item boxes it would be the monitors from the game does that sound cool?

I just bought dlc 1 and 2 today on Wii U lol Lotta people still playing online!

I had to watch this again since with the new release of 48 new tracks coming to the switch we only got two packs in the original Mario kart eight margarita walks technically Marker eight but with a steel see all characters Unlocked and a few adjustments we got to waves to cups each even though they didn’t get their you know Very own cup

Those were DLCs, not like the current ones.

The Yoshi track was already out on Gamecube. Everyone overlooks Double Dash.

Will Captain Falcon become an available character in a later DLC, i mean we get a F-Zero Circuit and a Blue Falcon Cart, why we don't get Captain Falcon as a character? It would be sad if we will not get him

Dragon Driftaway is thesecret star in this trailer. I mean how could you not love that course just by looking at it. Amazing work. Nintendo does DLC the right way!

Zelda x Mario Kart is a bit misleading, this is hardly a crossover between the two, this is Mario Kart + Link and a Zelda stage, with the majority of this DLC being completely unrelated to Zelda

For real, these DLCs made Mario Kart 8 from a pretty good game, into a truly great game, truly shows you can make a fair priced DLC that enhances the original with a mix of old, new, and tracks based on other Nintendo properties, this should have been the standard for the newer DLC and its a shame they didn't do something like this again

Seeing the F-Zero track makes me happy...but at the same time it makes we wanna cry...We need F-Zero Wii U....

I'm excited for the DLC packs, and I have a feeling that the Animal Crossing crossover is hinting at a new game coming to WiiU. We'll find out come E3, but I wouldn't be surprised if we got more DLC later to coincide with future games. I'd really like to see Starfox and maybe an R-Wing or Landmaster kart.

The cheapest DLC of this entire generation. Also, I love the new F-Zero Mute City remix. Game companies take notes: this is what a PROPER game looks like.

While calling Cat Peach and Tanooki Mario "new" characters is a bit of a stretch, if there was a "DLC of the Year" award, this would SO get that award! I can't get enough of watching it, and soon I'll be able to play it! :D

And after all these years, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is getting some paid DLC of its own.

I can't wait for this. So much content for a low price! I love Nintendo! :D

Those new tracks ate really awesome. My favorite is the F Zero track. Hopefully they will release that game for the Wii U as well. Also bought the double pack, so 8 new tracks in May 2015 ;)

The WiiU is one of the best times it had like DLC in MK8! I loved it!!

Worth the money! I was not disappointed with the new tracks, characters, The new tracks are pretty good!

I would be wonderfull if they added new Objects too :)

So much extra content! The characters and vehicles are cool (especially Link and the Mastercycle), but the extra tracks are what's most exciting. So much extra gameplay. I loved SNES Rainbow Road in MK7 so it'll be a hoot it MK8, but the Excite Bike and Hyrule courses look the most interesting.

These packs are EXCELLENT. I already purcahsed the bundle, and really hope they keep up this trend. I would love to, if not get more courses beyond pack two, at least get more franchise crossing characters.

I was hoping Nintendo would release courses that were in the single player already as dlc for online multiplayer. =`( Oh well. All i want is some disk locked content and always online drm so that if my internet drops out i can't play the game. I'm disappointed in you Nintendo. Can I at least get always online drm as a dlc pack? Please? =(

Am I really the only one who is excited more for Tanooki Mario and Cat Peach than Link?

At first I was a bit skeptical about this whole DLC thing for Mario Kart 8, but after they announced all the courses, karts, and characters, I'm excited as heck! Can't wait for all the courses but I'm really excited to see Dragon Driftway and Ice Ice Outpost. Also, I can't wait for the amiibo's! The only problem is that Cat Peach and Tanooki Mario should just be skins of Mario and Peach.

This is so stupid mario kart 8 is still ongoing but now with worse imported graphics from mario kart tour in the newest dlc for dx. Milking the same cow for 10 years… the milk eventually runs out…

I purchased the bundle months ago. It's cool they reward you for early purchase by giving you different color Yoshis and different color Shy Guys. I look forward to playing Mario Kart 8 again, but with these new additions. It's sure to be fun!

I'd just like to say this this is AWESOME, but not only that, the Mute City remix keeps that jazzy feel from MK8 but stills sounds great!

Please don't stop after DLC pack 2. This game has the potential to grow for years !

I'm really excited for this dlc and i've pre ordered both of them, but I do wish they had saved about 3 tracks for people to find by themeselves

This is fun, but i'm most excited about yoshi circut, i played double dash a lot before wii came out. I can look forward to doing the speedruns of these courses with using only one hand!
