It takes one leader to make massive change. I'm still wondering where is getting money within one year to execute all these roads project in Abuja. So what happened to previous minister at Abuja. Why are other Ministers like Education, Agriculture, Health Minister, Work and housing, Tourism like ideas to make massive change, attractive investment and create employment. IG needs to do more in terms of motivation of police personnel and kitted. Nigeria police has not really take their responsibility in making Nigeria crimes free society.

Wike should halt/change the practice of not having at all or having minimal road signs and directions. You’ll rarely need to stop to ask for directions in any American city or on any highway because they are generous roads/streets signs to guide you as to which turn/exit to take, distance, etc. Even as a longtime resident of Abuja (since 2002), I have had challenges with the beautiful new roads as they have minimal traffic/road signs and clear directions.

There was no GPS then but I planned my first interstate trip from Superior, Wisconsin to Houston, Texas, using just a road map, only other thing I had was my CB (citizens band) radio. Even airbags were still being debated and experimented then, no internet, etc.

Wike is trying in Abuja but the problem is that the role he played in the last presidential election will not be forgotten by Nigerians. In addition, building roads is good as he is doing but he should make sure that it's more than building roads. He should ensure that he makes Abuja an industrial city also and make sure that the buildings in Abuja central district are built compactly. There are still empty spaces in the CBD. Those buildings should be skyscrapers. Abuja needs skyscrapers too for esthetic purposes. There are but they are not enough. We need to make Abuja rival Cape Town in South Africa. Abuja has a beautiful topography to rival Cape Town but it doesn't have enough skyscrapers to match it. Abuja roads are good. We need to make it the most beautiful city in Africa. At present, Cape Town is the city with that title.
