@yung emman Problem is Wike started his socalled principle when the crocodiles he fed already started eating him. Things would have turned a whole lot DIFFERENT today, if he had selflessly insisted on proper zoning, beginng with presidential slot, the moment the north got the chairman slot. But no, Wike is not iboman right? And he was exempt from marginalization and his "northern brothers" would skip SE and give him presidential ticket. Truly child-like dream. What a laughing stock he is, after lavishing rivers money on PDP. Foolish man indeed.

He would have been more successful if he had played godfather and insisted on zoning the presidency to SE, right after Ayu got the party chairman post. His current zoning argument plus the MULTI-PARTY agreement to zone the presidency to the south, would have given him upper hand to back any SE candidate and win the party vote. But no, he wanted the presidential slot for himself, and got eaten. Greed can be poison. Now they are calling him the political CHILD he has proven to be, when faced with north. Lol.

@@tonybantu1681 my brother politics is work and chop. Wike is the only southern man who worked and holds the party more than anybody. So he deserves the presidency more anybody from the South in general. Tell me anyone in the SE who committed his time and resources to holding PDP from total collapsed. Because Wike didn't say it should be zoned to the SE that was why the South in general betrayed themselves. No politician in the SE has the political doggedness like Wike. Wike has the capacity and boldness to bring the needed development to the SE than any SE politician.

I just want to make one remark. When people keep saying Wike has no where else to go other than remaining in PDP, they are greatly mistaken. They forget that a man can go on hunger strike for whatever he decides to agitate for. Remember, Wike can decide to become 'OBIDIENT'. Never underestimate that possibility. Our political class feel we the Nigerian people have no choice but to live with what ever they decide to offer us as leadership. That is another big mistake. The patience of Nigerians may appear to be infinitely elastic but you can never bet that it will remain that way forever. The day Israelites were delivered from bondage in Egypt, it seemed like a dream.

In politics as we have it in Nigeria, morality counts very very little. It is rather a 'winner takes all' affair. What should we do about that? Mobilize, vote en mass and let the votes count. The north no matter what anyone says, are ahead of the rest of us in political awareness and actual participation. The rest of us talk more, complain and do very little on the main thing which is voting. Almost everyone from the mosque goes to vote but the huge crowds that gather in churches don't do as much. I feel God cannot be bothered to do what we can do for ourselves.✊

However, Nigerians have to overwhemingly say they want it and they want it now but I honestly wonder where that kind of unanimity will come from. Another thing is that in Nigeria, the divisions amongst us are artificial not real. Politicians hype issues, throw them at us and use the outcomes to bargain for their selfish interest. It may interest you to know that a number of persons who have helped some political leaders from the North to perpetrate this so called 'Fulanization of Nigeria' are Southerners and similarly, not everyone in the North agrees with or supports 'Fulanization' as you put it. Are we saying all that means nothing???

PDP is an ungrateful party, Wike is not demanding too much. The North thinks Nigeria belongs to them, they should also make an amendment that on election day there should not be a withdrawal on primaries. Look at the most useless governor of my state Edo. Upon everything Wike did for him and almost attack by opposition in the house and all the insult on his election day, Wike stood by him and see him win, but he forgot that easily and working against the man. Wike will be the best President Nigeria will ever produce not anybody running now.
