Why is different camp campaigning of Governor & Wike dancing every week? I believe all this Thanksgiving & other kinds of gatherings don't really matter now. Let the Executive governor do his job, 1 year before the election the governor should start telling the public why he should be re-elected again. Nigeria is such a terrible place honestly. Folks are suffering & they are dancing & saying nonsense. Wike (Mr lies) should focus on his duty in Abuja & stop creating problems in the state.

I feel for the Rivers people. Why all these shows of shame from the governor and his supporters and past governor Wike and his clowns at the expense of good governance in the state. So sad because the same crowd gathered every weekend by both groups will suffer the effect of this fight in the nearest future.

If he is not working, the people of Rivers state would not be supporting him. The governor is a calm and easy-going man. He does not brag about with what he is doing. He knows too well that his political survival is hinged on the people. So, he can't afford to fail them. That notwithstanding, he also needs to be a bit more vocal and attempt to control the narrative. He should not yield the space to his political foes to model and control the narratives in the state. Since, he is not known to be vocal, it is good he has a vocal SSG who will help him shape and control the narrative in the state on the basis of his accomplishments in the state. There is not wrong with this. The reality of politics in Nigeria is such that this sort of political outreaches are proven to be the best way to reach out, connect and engage with the people. Wike and his crew have been doing this. So, why shouldn't the governor engage them fire-for-fire?
