^beat me too it but oh well, If he couldn't use a gun then how does he use a grapple. You have to aim with it and it has wayyy more kick back than a gun, it'll rip your arm off when pulling you as well.

I like in Justice League: Doom when Superman asks Batman something like, you had plans in case any of us turned evil, what about you? Then Batman as he’s walking away looks at Superman and says “it’s called the Justice League” and walks away

@@nubreed13 there were two versions of the movie. There's a comparison video on RU-vid somewhere. I had the VHS as a kid and he says "I'm not Batman" when Tim's Joker says "Batman never fought dirty". Its a great scene, the dialogue is so cool

Depends on which continuity, but Joker normally disfigures/tortures/kills them, and them basically forgets that he knows.

In the cartoon The Batman from the early 2000s, the villains Wrath and Scorn discover Batman and Robins identities. But before they can reveal this Joker gasses them into insanity because it would ruin the fun

There's actually a wonderful example of that in the Harley Quinn cartoon, the Scarecrow pulls off Batman's mask and Joker loses it.

Alternate versions of Bruce who use magic also don't seem to have a good time with it either. Bat-Magus of Earth-33 is a good example.

at least with Bruce, rich playboys have all the access in the world to personal trainers and dietitians, and it's conceivable he just likes being swole. With Clark Kent, he can't really hide his superhuman strength. What happens if something really heavy falls on his foot? Does he have to fake like it hurt as much as it would hurt a human?

Bruce Wayne acts like a spoiled rich boy when around "smart" politicians and the like. When he runs his company he does the bare minimum in front of anyone and lets his "people" make most of the decisions in business practices unless he is specifically interested in either the clients or tech the company is handling at the moment (like deals with LexCorp, the Government or Space Exploration). There are also times when Bruce somewhat breaks "character" in public, like when saving random people from getting run over or crushed, then there's the time when he went to Jury Duty to personally try and get Mr. Freeze acquitted for a crime Batman had wrongfully pinned on him. Clark only has to hide his well built alien physiology under a loose fitting suit, his stance slightly slouched and act somewhat awkward and clumsy around people. There's also his slight tactile psychic abilities where he can project a sort of aura that tells people near him that it is impossible for him to be Superman. There's also the fact that Clark has built up several mental blocks that "keeps him human" for lack of a better term, specifically his need to eat as he can subsist with only Yellow Sun Energy for long periods of time and that he keeps himself in check when touching anything (like in the JL Unlimited series finale where he fights a resurrected Darkseid he commented that "everyday is like walking on eggshells" but with Darkseid, he can finally cut loose)

Fun fact, there are comics where someone tells one of Superman's villians "hey, Clark Kent is Superman" and the villian goes "I already know. But do you think he's any less super when he's not wearing the suit?" Pretty much, he does the Clark Kent thing to feel human, because that's something he enjoys. He doesn't really need to exist as Clark Kent, he just wants to.

Okay, so there's a little more to that then how you phrased it. Canonically, Bruce can't be a Green Lantern, because of how the green power ring works. See, it doesn't just use any old willpower, it's very specific. It's specifically the will to overcome great fear. And while Batman is absolutely determined, and terrifying, he can't overcome great fear. He's defined by his fear. The entire reason the Batman exists, is because he has never gotten over the fear of his parents' deaths. It still haunts him, controls his actions and decisions, the fear and trauma from that event is who he is. And that's why he can't be a Green Lantern. Because he can't overcome the fear of being an 8 year old boy watching his parents being gunned down in an alley.

@bryan diaz varela yes and no, he became a green lanter at 8 and his willpower overcome the ring progamming allowed him to kill who killed his parents, but when he became dawnbreacker was when he was aroudn 18 year or so (maybe younger) and after he killed the blue aliens from the green lanter corps (i dont remember they name xD)

He doesn't kill, he's Batman. Worst case scenario he doesn't save you from your own comeuppance

Yeah, it helps that he sleeps only 3 hours for every 80 hours awake. He could do a lot more considering his high intelligence and peak human physique.

This is why I believe Batman does have a superpower... it is super intelligence and will... to master 127 different martial arts alone, not to mention his "Sherlockian" deductive reasoning and eidetic memory, and sheer strength of will and resolve... he has to be a meta human...lol
