This is the exact kind of tutorial I like. You go over every part in chronological order and explain exactly what you mean in ever step by showing you doing it clearly. You came into the video knowing exactly what you were gonna say and that makes following along to the video so much easier. Ive been trying to find a clear tutorial for Wilbur's songs and yours are the best. this is exactly what I need to learn. Im sure if you did a tutorial for im in love with an egirl it would be just as good too. Subscribed
@@cowsmoosic I watched this before I got into guitar just to see if it was comprehensible to know if I wanted to play guitar, I am now learning guitar so maybe that’s the reason
best tutorial for this song, i tried following wilbur's tutorial and struggled a bit then i found your video under it and all i have to say is bravo, first song ive learned on guitar
I’m watching this as my first multi string song on guitar because I love saline solution and I think I’ll be able to achieve it given that this is a really good tutorial
I haven't gotten a guitar yet but I'm watching tutorials to know some things before I start! This is amazing thanks for giving us such a clear tutorial!
Never picked up a guitar until today, with the sole goal of being able to play Saline solution, and now I can. Thank you so much this is a great video ❤
Ajwjiwdhjsjs thank you!! I'm allready planning on doing since i saw vienna btw i have a discord now and idk how else to promote it so im doing that in my replies now >:) discord.gg/wA583NCn
This tutorial didnt really help me with the timings and how it fits with the lyrics, but this was really useful to learn *what* to actually play, so thank you. Thankfully i was able to find a piano transcription for sheet music (and thankfully i know how to read sheet music haha) which really helped me as i could play along a lot better, so im all good! (: Love your tutorials, keep up the good work!
Thanks mate this helped me a lot I was searching for a good tutorial for so long. Can you please make a tutorial for since I saw Vienna by Wilbur soot 🙏🏼
Ywah it would be cool to do! Rn I'm avoiding doing it cuz it's complex but your the second person to request it so i might wanna prioritize it a bit more
I might be wrong here ,but i believe the official chords have 0 2 2 0 0 0 In some places you used 2 0 0 0 0 0 Mostly in the verses Also in the hammer-pull part im pretty sure it's 7 4 x x x x x x 7 5 (you didn't show this string) x x
Your probably right about the hammer on bit, but with the chords I do use *both* the chords you have written out! and just a lil tip u write ur chords upside down :)
Thanks! Hammer ons, or tapping is when you use make the guitar make a noise by hitting the string with your finger over the fret u need. Idk if that helps
hey I have a problem with the second string's G tuning (you know after the C one). I downloaded a hundreds of apps but non of those match the G sound that you use in this video. Any help? I don't know what to do with this problem. :"D
I’m finding it hard to pull-off from the hammer-on… whenever I pull off, it doesn’t make the same sound yours does even though it’s in the same tuning, capo, everything, I was just wondering if I was potentially doing it wrong perhaps?
When pulling off you arent just taking your finger off your like plucking the string as your taking your finger off. and when hammering on make sure you really hit it hard enough to get the note to come out
u said at the beginning to „mute“ and then strum DDDUD or sumn and uhm i literally camt figure out how to do tht like my guitar still keeps making the notes if tht makes sense like it doesnt sound as dense as it should i camt explain
hey! this was great but i was wondering in the chorus i know how to play the beginning but like the part where you pluck the strings on the bridge i rly don’t understand the chords and stuff if you could or someone in the comments could explain that would be great
Your fingers stay on the 4th frets of the C and G strings. For part A tap on the 7th fret of the C string and then pluck when you lift up, then do the same on the G string. For part B just repeat the tap on the 7th fret of the C string and pluck when you lift up twice
It's the line from the original recording on the bridge, which i prefer to the line in the studio version. The version im teaching here is a mishmash of the best parts from both!
I mean i dont really know how to help you with that, if you tune it too far and it snaps try being a bit more careful, and make sure your tuning down not up
I found it easy to learn the strumming pattern on this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-11yfJcGgDwM.html as opposed to the studio version
Common practice is to count the thickest string as the sixth string thinnest as the first, when i was naming the chords i started on the sixth. Hope this helps :)
thank you so much, i’ve had this guitar sitting around for years and i’ve just decided to pick it up. i’ve only gotten to around 20 seconds in the actual song and your teaching is very clear! though my thumb may be blistered, i am slowly learning! thank you :)
Hey, i was just listening to this now, and at the time stamp 4:10, for the verse outro, did you mean to say second string 5th fret instead of 5th string second fret? I may be wrong haha
