wilco post-bennett fucks all of jay bennett's solo-music in the ass. RIP, he was beloved to a lot of people, but if you think A Ghost is Born is boring dad rock, you unironically need to see a medical professional asap. If Wilco ever were one person, it was Jeff Tweedy, who did the majority of writing before Bennett, and almost all of it after he left. Read everyone's memoirs and loose writings; it's obvious that Tweedy wrote most Summerteeth. If Jay Bennett had any one crowning achievement in terms of impact, it's "Being There", which is way more dad rock than any Wilco album other than the self titled one. That said, even if Wilco post-Bennett is better than Bennett post-Wilco, his music was still pretty good. RIP
