The Icefields Parkway is cold? Scandalous! 😊 I am glad that you two got to go on that journey now, and in fairly good conditions. The nature is beautiful, and probably enjoying the break from all those tourists. High altitude Nadine sounds a little different than low altitude Nadine. 🥂😉 Thank you for posting.

It wasn’t that cold in jasper ... but then again I’ve lived here for over a year and am pretty acclimated to the temperatures here

@@kayleepoitras491 I live in Yukon so I'm like ooh looks nice down south. We had a depressingly cool and damp summer. Now we are getting morning frost and fresh snow on the mountains. I'm gonna say it..... Winter is coming 😬🙃

I had made a comment on the last video about this and couldn't believe you didn't go to the glacier and skywalk. That was my favorite thing I did on my whole trip to Banff. So unique!!! Glad you went!

I was with my parents at Jasper in 1971. At the time, we also visited the Athabaskan glacier and Columbia ice fields. I remember riding in a huge ATV type van that would crawl on the ice. We stepped onto the ice, saw the crevasses, etc. From your filming, that ice is all gone! I guess since it has been nearly 50:years, the ice has receded by 250 meters by now. So sad, a victim of climate change. Still a beautiful place. Thanks for showing it!

U understand that the whole valley used to be ice thousands of years ago...gotta see it to understand that global warming is nothing new. Sure I would say that humans a wreaking havoc every where but using glaciers for an argument is wrong.

@@jeffreyluciana8711 u have to see. the evidence are visible even for a 10 year old kid. Visit, pay attention and u will see ot every where. In dinnosaure provincial park Alberta there's signs that explain what happened there made by the government

I actually worked for that company. If you haven't been to Maligne Lake that is in Jasper. It is amazing and my favourite!

Ya we went to Maligne Lake and hiked the Bald Hills a few days before we did the skywalk. Such nice views of the lake and mountains 👌

The mountain parks are so beautiful in the summer even more so in the winter. I guess unless you have spent any time in the mountains in the summer, it may be surprising how cold it can get at night. The white stuff on top of the mountain is snow, so that should be a pretty good giveaway as to the temps.

Just returned from 10 days in Jasper/Banff and Yoho and in our Eurovan. Your video is excellent and loved the pics. We also did the skywalk which is a must do when in Jasper!!

I love Wilcox Pass! A herd of bighorn sheep added to the experience. The best part is, it's not too hard of a hike. I also recommend the Mount Edith Cavell trail.

@@heynadine mount edith cavell... the mountain was name after a Belgian nurse that was killed by the German during ww1. German killed her because she was nursing traitors of Germany... therefore she was treasonous too.

With how cold the temperatures are getting at night, I think Clifford could use a dog house to keep warm at night! The skywalk looks really cool. It would be neat to look down and see a long distance to the bottom. Athabasca Glacier looks awesome! I remember my cousin and I were trying to find some glaciers along the Icefields Parkway a few years ago, but I know we did not travel that far to the north (we were coming from Banff).

Nadine,did you know about wet wipes? In a pack sealed they will last two months if kept at room temperature. You can wash your whole body with them, alternatively use oxidizing soap, like dry shampoo for your body, you just strip off wipe the soap all over and wait a few minutes for it to oxidise and you are bath fresh water free,no water,no towel needed, perfect for camping!🇬🇧❤️👍

Can't believe it gets down to -2 in summer, I'm so so jealous 😂 it's so hot where I am that I'm happy if it's 27° The food part sounded like my everyday haha just eat what's going bad 😂 tip for the hair washing though, might be a little hard to get all the soap out if it's loose, it's a little easier if you wash it in a braid at least that's what I've found

We did Wilcox Pass and Mount Edith Cavell last week. So windy... Made it hard to do any talking in a video. We left Banff the day the smoke rolled in.

I'm sorry but u miss the best spots...sure the icefield parkway is great...but u guys didn't visit Mount Edith Cavell. It is the most awsome place in jasper with the columbia icefield area... Maligne lake is also something out of this world. Hard to make a video of the best spots... too much too see so much time...I dont blame u...but u guys have to come back to see mount edith cavell. Glacier, glacier pond...pond glacier, glacier fall and angel glacier...it is the most beautifull jaw dropping place...cant stop walking around there.

We got that same spice jar from Walmart and the condensation inside the car ruined all the spices except for the salt so watch out

I am still puzzled why people wear masks when there is no one around, or just a few people where social distancing is possible. Here where I live in England hardly anyone wears a mask in the street, but masks are mandated for shops with a £100 fine. Even so none of the supermarkets are enforcing it, but people comply because of the fines, just in case a cop comes in. Pubs are exempt, so I go to a pub once a week where no one is wearing a mask, but social distancing is in place with a reduced number of tables and screens. It's all totally illogical because I am free to join other people I know at their tables for a bit of banter.
