Battle with the strongest boss in the game, Ragu O Ragla. This is the 'cheap' strategy I use that utilizes the 100% Orange badge. The entire battle last around 20 minutes so I edited the middle part to around 10 minutes.
I guess we're deserving of our own opinions and all, but I really enjoyed 2nd Ignition over all the others. The story was exceptionally deep for a game of that era, and had many rather dark (if subtle) themes within which were just not seen back then. It made for a truly unique gaming experience comparable only to other Greats like FF7 or Tales of Destiny... Not to mention that the Knight Blazer kicked all kinds of ass.
My first wild Arms Game was the 5...And i found it Amazing...I found it very funny to play and i don't understand all the people who complain the game just for the HEX system...I mean...I undersand that the 4th chapter was unfair but...Do his problems really need to ruin this game? I think Not...
I checked the "PS2 trilogy" of Wild Arms...And i understand that the 3rd is appeciated due to the fact that that it's funny and "Easy to use"...The 4th was not appeciated due to the fact that the game is..."Buggy" and the 5th is Very Good (You can appreciate it) but You can't Fully Appreciate unless you're a Huge Fan...Or an Hardcore Player.
Same here. Played WA 2, 3, and 5. But wa 2 is better in terms of story and even the characters are better looking. Such a shame they did not remake wa games for modern consoles.
@@Dinomight125 Sucks we might not see those games or new Wild Arms games released on modern consoles. Both Media Vision and Xseed have gone their separate ways. With Xseed now publishing obscene games and Media Vision being somewhat inactive, its very unlikely at this point. Something miraculously that might happen is if a ps2 classic were to be made, WA3 would obviously be on it being made by sony and with that I think the rest of the titles may follow.
i think they got wild arms 3 in some sort of digital rental service PSN had (called Playstation Now... i think...), but idk about 4, 5, or alter code F
Last time I played this, i didn't even need the 100% orange. Just trap the guy, get react minus on it's hex, wait for The Burning Door or The Frozen Door, and delay the hell out of him. Even better if you got All Stats up or React Plus on a hex for your team. Takes like 10 mins of turn delay on him and the combo will make the Sword Medium summon do tons of damage. Easily into 6 digit damage with a good combo.
The superbosses battle in this game are simple: Or you have LUCK (which never happens) or you have the 100 Orange, since all the bossess attacks can deal over 10K damage no matter how high is your defense.
I do have a PS2 emulator. SO far, I downloaded Tales of the Abyss UNDUB and Tales of Destiny DC. KH2, WA5, Dark Cloud 2, DMC1, 3 all I bought from the store instead. XD
Jesus, is this on an emulator, it looks unbelievably clean for a PS2 game? I mean, even if it's emulated, amazing how well the assets upscale. It must be, the UI stuff looks so muddy by comparison.
However when I first HAD access to these 4 dungeons I ONLY had like lv 50 party members so even WITH the 100% orange badge I had NO chance of winning even the RANDOM battles since the LOWEST exp lv of those 4 dungeons but not its BOSS still had LV 75 enemies in it and at lv 50 I didn't even survive a SINGLE hit those enemies do while your skills/spells did CRAP for damage due to my lv 50 party.
Ragu o ragla were easier and harder at the same time if you fought him in the 3rd game, simply cuss all his attacks aside from his counter attacks would hit the entire party for 3k to 4k, however all of his attacks were elemental in nature, aside from the counter attack so you could just make yourself immune to all of them if you prepared for him, another thing that made him harder was the fact that you would have to face him TWICE
RiorXD hmm I might also be remembering it wrong, that or I might have used the Relic Coin though probably memory being bad, considering I haven't played Wild Arms 3 in several years
Wild Arms 1, 2, and 5 all share the factors of having blue-haired protagonists. Meanwhile Ragu o Ragla is a bonus boss in the franchise, to the point that Media Vision even included a monster design shout-out in the Symphogear anime series apparently.
i beated this asshole yesterday(not my first try tho) my trio for the battle was: Dean lvl 100 Sword Medium 2 Sheriff Stars 1 Cat's pawn Badge 1 Berserke Badge 1 Violator Badge Carol lvl 100 Sea Medium 2 Sheriff Stars 1 Full Carrot 1 Speed Skates 1 Mist Cloak Rebecca lvl 100 Moon Medium 2 Sheriff Stars 1 Cat's Pawn Badge 1 Berserker Badge 1 Violator the first thing i do when fighting Ragu is try to lock him in a corner, once he is in the corner i use Celesdue with Rebecca and combo it with Great Apples, Ragu won't even have a chance to attack. However if he manages to attack me i can always use Invincibility with Rebecca and protect Carol. This battle is actually pretty easy, for me the hardest battle in the game is the FurFur x2, i can beat then without the 100% orange as well, but since there are 2 of these fuckers its really hard to focus.
木戸 Kido Ah right. I was considering using the Mountain medium the first time I tried the battle out, but it didn't exactly pan out in my favor cause it does way too much damage for the All stats hex to really kick in.
木戸 Kido The other random trick I did at one point was to use the Locked out Status, causing him to not move. Dark Isolate practically shat on that idea.
You needed 100% Orange with THREE Sheriff Stars on both of your main attackers? And it took you 20 minutes? That's just really sad. You do not need 100% Orange to beat Ragu, especially not at max levels with that ridiculous badge setup. Three Sheriff Stars is actually a pretty awful setup anyway lol...Sheriff Star/Mist Cloak/Dual Cast/Gold Sun/Speed Queen is a better way to go.
