It's how they started. Garret started first, but did a loop so everyone was watching him. Sam dropped from the quarter a bit further away and surprised everyone. I was filming (the fish angle) and you can even see that I was about to rush in to film Garrett...

Everything here was ridiculous but Hiam's whip to smith on a round rail makes no sense. He puts that back tire on that rail so accurately it looks like he could've gone way further if the rail was longer.
