Bill has done a fine job on this huge O Gauge layout! From the wiring to the scenery, it is top notch! On this evening we celebrated Charlie’s 75th birthday! Thanks Bill for the hospitality!
Really enjoyed the layout... One can tell of a person that put himself into the hobby, and it shows. I have a pair of New York Central F3s that are my favorite pair of locos. The long trailer train was cool.
I love the layout! My favorite thing is the car wash. Where did you get it? I hope Charlie has many more happy birthdays. He should, if he continues to play with trains and has the good friends he obviously has! Thanks to Bill and daveclarklumber for bringing it to us.
This is a nice layout. Thanks for sharing for all to see. I notice you leave room for people to walk around and gives you access to a train off track. Enjoyed your building and the multitude of trees. Nice run of the piggyback trins which I saw back in the 50's and 60's working for REA. You have a great selection of building. Love the Shell gas station. You have a broad selection that I really enjoy. You make this 26-minute worth looking at. The icehouse is fantastic. Was that scratch built? The lift bridge is amazing. I have to crawl under mine, which is getting difficult as I get older. Your car wash reminds me the day you could get a free car wash with a fill-up. when gas was 25 cent a gallon. Your back ground music adds to pleasure in seeing your layout. Not too loud and real music instead of noise. Nice mix of C and O passenger cars. Your refinery looks great. The bridges and signal towers are really a plus. Thank you. great looking Ore cars on a such a long train is convincingly real. JH
Wow your layout is incredible. I really like all the landscaping with the trees and the various Industries like the Morton Salt Co. Thank You for sharing.
It's been 15+ years since I was there to see in person. Wonderful to see how the layout evolved and was filled in. So many new buildings and great landscaping. Thanks
