I caught so many Sheepshead. The bite was crazy good from shore. I was fishing with Mud Crabs and the fish were stacked along the seawall. I was just freelining the crabs with 20 lb test mono leader and using a #2 J-hook.

Went to that place last night, and it is so nice knowing that everyone goes to the other side of the bridge. I caught a ton of fish yesterday by just dropping it on the seawall.

I've had good luck in areas where the tide isn't moving overly fast. Right before and after the tide change can be a good time to get them.

Rad! I can’t figure out for the life of me what parts of sw Florida you’re fishing. Lived in Naples, Bonita springs and Estero over 43 years. Just moved to the space coast.

Thanks for watching. I'm fishing the parts of SW Florida that have structure, pilings, rocks, mangrove islands, oyster beds, always structure...I only reveal exact locations maybe once or twice per year. Fish around structure and you'll always find fish. I fish from Panama City Beach Fl to the Everglades...

You had an awesome day! I've never targeted sheepshead before. Thanks for showing your setup. I noticed you don't use any weight. If you were in strong current, how would you recommend setting up? I usually have the weight on the bottom and the hook about a foot above it. Are there better ways to setup the weight in current? Any and all advice is appreciated!

Thanks for watching. I fish south Florida. I don't reveal locations on this channel, but do encourage anglers to get out and fish to find locations on their own. All a person needs is some mud crabs, barnacles or fiddler crabs and a seawall or pilings and there's a good chance they will catch some Sheepshead. Right now the Sheepshead are just about everywhere that some barnacles are growing on the pilings or seawalls.
