Had to watch this totally sober. My Dmax drinking game of taking a shot everytime traction control or the automatic is mentioned failed miserably this episode.
I wish someone here in the states would put together as good a production as you boys. You do a great job showing and explaining all the aspects of your trips. Love the camping set ups, the cooking and all. Not to mention you show lots and lots of lovely 4wd action. Makes me wish my Jeep XJ and I could tour some Australia. Good job guys.
I like how Shaun mentioned how they knew the front diff was gone on the hilux, It may seem like nothing to 4x4 nuts, but for people getting into it, Its super helpful, , Should go into more detail when things get broken.
Hi this is Wil, I think that's pretty cool how in Australia the Winch has a Rope and Still be able to pull a Truck. In America the Winch has a Steal Cable to pull a Truck. I think I like the Rope better!
Since there’s no good wheeling in Hawaii.... this makes my day when a new video comes out. Good on you mates. Graham got some new goodies on your I-zuzu 😎
If you want to test your campers mr mdc, let my kids in there for a few hours. Soon find out what needs to be stronger. Road testing seems arbitrary, but feel free to send us one for constructive feedback.
Everyone saying in the comments that graham got a new D max which I think he did but the old d max was in the old episodes so the free ones are getting newer because sooty is here to as well
Shauno I recon if you took the best parts of each of your rigs you’d have one mean 4by. The 1vdj from the 79 the chassis from the 80 and the chopped cab from the dirty30 = one awesome and unique 4wd
ill tell ya fellas I know what ya mean when that clay gets wet its like trying to drive on ice good job coming down that hill next time tho just get some better tires first low and you should do good I live in the us been watching for a while keep it up guys love the vids
If I had to take a shot every time the DMax had to winch relative to the others....A nigga would NOT be sober. At least it's reliable. We run a few of these at work, plus a Ranger, a GWM (rebadged Isuzu KB) and a Ssangyong Actyon. Surprisingly, the Ssangyong has proved to be the most reliable vehicle by a mile. These poor things get tortured going to all the remote cell towers, and the Ssangyong is yet to break anything, while every other vehicle has required constant maintenance.
Funny how that traction control that he ranted about being so good didn't get him up those hills. Please get some lockers so we can respect you again!!!
finally get to see the 80.. jelous.. i got ripped so bad with my 80. 20grand down the drain.. teach me a lesson not to trust anyone.. even a local.. and yes i know its rare to get a lemon diesel 80 but sadly i found the only one in existence
Someone please give us the run down on Jocks Luxy im 16 bout to get a first car and i wanna o luxy so wanna know what kinda stuff Jocks running and what Ill need most of all to hit such tracks
Get a 75 series all my mates with dule cab hilux ranger constently brake ther car trying to do stuff like this the dule cabs you have to spend 20k on thwm after ypu brought it for it to beable to do this
All means man get one vut exspect ot to brake and i lernt quick dont use yore work car for off road you will brake it and wont be able to go to work or if ya roll it ya stuffed learnt that tue hard way lol
My theory is it could've been the ring gear in the diff that was stripped, so that means that there is still some teeth left to make it turn sometimes but not enough to make it turn reliably
"If I do start to slide, I'm going to take my foot off the brake and drive out of it" - proceeds to hold the brakes fully locked up down the whole hill
