I'm still quite inexperienced when it comes to wild camping as a hardcore thing, but I thought I'd give it a shot, as I'd heard this was a lovely place to stay.
How did it go?
I wasn't disappointed.
CHECK OUT THE JAW DROPPING VIEWS AT 6:50!!!
With the volatile and very un-Summery weather to contend with, I enjoyed the sights & sounds of the deserted Cumbrian fells
The views were worth every step & I'd implemented what I'd learned at Haweswater in terms of safety, food, and what worked for me regarding comfort.
Maybe I'm still over packing but I think the basics are in place, I just need more experience & with that comes confidence to maybe go further? Scottish Highlands?
But on this modest adventure, I was rewarded with epic views over both Ennerdale & Buttermere, and cold or not, I learned a lot
