Stunning scenery, gorgeous weather, and educational as well. I specifically enjoy how you take the time to explain your kit, and point out things that the average camper doesn’t think about… Like having a crisp edge on the back of your knife to get a good spark from your ferro rod. I also enjoy when you camp with Mark… It’s a great balance. I agree agree with you about military surplus, and how to save money when you can… it’s not necessary to spend a fortune on a good kit if you could pick it up used. Thanks again Allan for a great camp video
It was refreshing to hear such a philosophical debate on the virtues of "bigfoot" flatulence. These are major universal questions that need indepth discussion.
Heavy but works is fine for most mate, and it is tough kit. Loads of it about, relatively inexpensive, takes a shed load of bashing and still works. So if you can handle a bit of extra bulk and are not cutting around town in it it ticks every box for most. Some of the outdoor kit on sale is at a price that is crazy, totally unecessary for average user. Good and intetesting post as alwasys, hope all is well, and cracking job on your followers numbers. All best mate G
Hi. I’ve been waiting for weeks and weeks to go camping. I broke a bone in my foot, 7 weeks ago, which then lead to a bursitis in the knee. I have been immobile and have lost a lot of muscle mass in my legs, so I will have to be careful load bearing, too. Can’t beat Army kit. Glad it’s warming up too, so less insulation to have to carry. This vid has given me motivation. Thank you. All the best👍🏾😉🇬🇧
Cool video Allan, camp looks stunning with the bluebells round the perimeter, has been stunning weather for a wildcamp, in Lincolnshire last night, stunning, good health and safe travels my friend, cheers craig
Awesome video dude but as an ex soldier i have to say that is a pretty gucci army set up ... i mean that ground sheet is just pure luxury All i had was a basha, bivvi bag and sleeping bag and this was all at -20°c in Scotland ..... fun times
My dad was in charge of P Coy Army store at Catterick and he would always bring home the ration packs when we were kids, haven't had one for years but I may have to pick some up for the nostalgia!
Its good to see the British Army Kit working well 👌 👍 as it should for our men and women, and the new knife looks good 👍, our green spaces are important and its a bad reflection if one lot of people are bad and don't respect it , I personally would have liked them to removed the burnt ashes as well as the rubbish, there are ways of doing it with out taking it .
You were lucky with with the weather. Slugs are worst thing about bivvy bags, even a head net don't save ya.still could have been worse , could've been Big Foot follow though 😮. Ass to the size of a big foot fart ,having been a subscriber to yours and Marks channels for a few years now. I'm know you can both hold ya own 🌬️🌪️😂😂. Take care 😁
I would give anything to have a cooking set like you have. I have always wanted one of them let cooking set I mean it is so lite and portable for sure. Sir lobe the channel keep up the awesome work and great content for sure till the next's one GodBless and stay safe and Happy camping
Ah..now I know why you call it a Basha! I was lusting after one. If it is about rain protection, the Brits are the experts! And concerning kit-every soldier knows you check out what the other nationals have...and try to get stuff that is better than your equipment. Lighter, sturdier.... Enjoyed your presentation! Keep going, it seems fun!
Sgts rank on your smock and full screw tapes with skill at arms on your wooly pully....? If you've earned them, keep them - if not suggest you take them off please.
Perhaps I missed it, but what size is that tarp? Is 3 metres by 3 metres good? That would be 10 feet by 10. Anyway, nice video as always from yourself. Thanks
