After many years of observing meteor shower Perseid from my balcony, I have finally decided this is the year I'll go to the mountain and see this natural phenomenon away from light pollution. However, not even in my wildest dreams could I imagine the sights I'd see on this trip. First, Haris and I found a great place for the camp, it was sheltered from the wind and near two water sources. Second, we even managed to see the sunset, which was unexpected since we didn't leave Sarajevo before 17:30. We have set up the camp quickly and enjoyed the view while we waited for the night and the beginning of the cosmic show. And it did not disappoint, we saw at least ten shooting stars in the first hour, that went seemingly above our heads leaving us speechless. That wasn't the only thing we saw, as we have seen the Milky way and even recognized a few constellations. We were awake at down determined to start this day the best way possible, enjoying the sunrise. After that we drove to Tusilo from where we begun our climb towards the Drstva peak, from there to the Vito peak and later to shelter Zoran Simic.
