Wild caught Betta Siamorientalis from Vietnam 

My friend in VN caugth them in the feild in Long AN. There are slight variation from one area to the next in size and finnage

Bentuk fisik mereka(siamorientalis Vietnam) cenderung ke Betta imbelis sedangkan cupang Allam splenden body nya lebih pendek tebal dan sirip nya pendek. Di wilayah saya masih banyak di jumpai wild Betta splenden dan saya sangat beruntung masih dapat menemukan mereka dengan mudah di rawa-rawa tempat saya tinggal, mereka sangat liar dan cantik 🥰🥰😍😍

You are not the only person I have heard who thinks this, while I considered it possible until they did genetic testing that proves Mahachai and Siam are in fact there own species, but that makes me wonder how fast could a new species evolve in the fish world?.. . I have some very interesting imports from the South Mekong Delta In southern Vietnam.. they look like large Imbellis with green face but they are thicker and have reduced body iridescent compared to most Imbellis.. definitely still wild and neat fish though hybrids. From what I gather the “pure” locations are becoming fewer and farther apart.

Riau indonesia juga memiliki jenis serupa ini , pembeda hanya pada warna sisik metalik yg memenuhi hampir semua body ,sedangkan dari Riau indonesia hanya memiliki 3 sampai 4 baris metalik pada sisik nya,, 🤗🤗🤗

Di Riau banyak bos,, tapi kata salah satu breder dari Medan mengatakan ikan seperti ini masuk splenden Betta, ya gitu kepala hitam arang dan sisik hijau dgn gab warna hitam dominan,,
