1.) I'm amazed that is your only concern. 2.) Those aren't pearls it's their old, used plastic Ana* beads that's planted (Staged) inside the meat. These people are so full of it that their beads can't be used / enjoyed now so they "Repurpose" the beads to make their many fake videos and hope you believe their lies. 3.) The clams are not thrown away I assure you. They are shipped to Walt Disney World or Disneyland and taught how to sing so they can Showcase in many of Disney's Water-Themed attractions and rides. Ex: Pirates of the Carry Bee Inn, Da Lil' Mer Made- "Unda Da See" and many other attractions that specifically use these Mangled Mollusks from the Phillipines that were used to make fake videos for those naive enough to believe their bs. :D
I am amazed that people actually believe this is real. Pearls in clams are rare, let alone finding 20 in one clam. Freshwater pearls are not typically perfectly spherical. All pearls would not be the same size (or combination of several sizes). All pearls would not be the exact same color, let alone truly black. I admit it’s fun to watch, trying to figure out how it was all set up, but this is a video production, not collecting of pearls in the wild!
This answers the question I was going to ask: I thought freshwater pearls were dyed to the black, ruby and other colours I've seen in her videos. I also thought they produced mostly baroque shapes and sizes. I had also never heard of one mollusc producing such quantities. Having seen the pearl farms at Rangiroa and other islands of French Polynesia, I had no doubt that the very high prices, though inflated for the tourist trade, reflected the shape, size, lustre and smoothness of the pearls which are rare. Perfect pearls have prices to match and a strand of South Sea pearls really is for the rich and famous, with emphasis on the rich.
It’s also incredibly damaging to the environment, and the sustainability of these clams. There’s a reason why wildlife in China doesn’t exist or is hard to come by, because they hunt and forage to the brink of species collapse, because there are zero regulations for sustainability. Which is why their fishing vessels are going into other countries ocean territories, claiming them as their own, to fish. Because they’ve completely emptied the ocean territories around their coasts. Their behavior is disgusting and videos like this keep that behavior prevalent.
@@user-ce4fw6ol1h Do you think there would be so many poor people in that region of the world if you could just walk around and pick up hundreds of perfectly shaped enormous pearls ???
Yes they are but when I was in Hawaii you could buy a packaged clam that Always seemed to have a pearl and mine had what was referred to as a " "Blue Pearl
Black or very dark grey pearls are found in Tahiti area cos the oysters have a dark grey nacre (the shiny stuff inside the shell) or the local craft store (as it is in this case.)n
no they are not made by nature unless you can say that pearls made and sold in craft shops by humans are made by nature. They are planted - pearls fake and the mussels are killed for youtube views.
if you are trying to hate on her and saying that the pearls are fake they are not because I googled it so if you do say that they are fake then you are a HATER
You are right. I have seen videos showing people opening clams without killing them. This woman is ending the life of so many animals every day and week. I’d have less problems if she would use the meat and shells. I would also believe the pearls were real if they were not BLACK. What is the point of painting pearls? My point is, use the whole fricking thing.
@@romyejones5265 Pearls will be the colour of the inside of the shell - so the ones she is killing for fake pearls (were there any natural pearls) should be a creamy white-ish colour. And i would have less of an issue if the mussels were being used for food for her and her family...
I also, come to watch the staging and the fakery. It is cute: what I call 'encouraged nature theatre'. No such thing as 1-black pearls that tone , 2-all perfectly round, 3-the sizes of marbles 4-all in one clam like that....
You REALLY need to ask that question? Answer is sadly a resounding, "No". The clams are then shipped to Walt Disney World or Disneyland and taught how to sing so they can Showcase in many of Disney's Water-Themed attractions and rides. Ex: Pirates of the Carry Bee Inn, Da Lil' Mer Made- "Unda Da See" and many other attractions that specifically use these Mangled Mollusks. :)
somebody can explain why they have differet color, i have seen some other videos where the pearls are purple, blue, orange and golden they look fake i don´t know
@@AwesomeGamer-iv1wj they are fake and pearls will be the colour of the nacre (the shiny inside of the shell) - pearls do not come naturally any on those garish bright colours. the Queen Conch will produce pearls and they are varying shades of pink - which the colour inside their shells. Google - conch pearls. Enjoy
@tocaisah-zr6ny Not USA, China! If you look in the bio, it plainly states Hong Kong! Don't blame other countries if you don't know facts! YOU PLAINLY DON'T!
Phillipines. They haven't taken over that area because THEY CAN'T! Somehow these Villagers were able to conjure up a SLEW of Indestructable fire-breathing, laser-shooting 1/2 dragon - 1/2 Rainbow colored Unicorns that protects their multi-billion dollar Black Pearl Producing Clam EMPIRE. Their Government is smart to not even try to infiltrate the jungle knowing of their imminent doom if they even tried to take it over. Just Google her other RU-vid Channel "Pearl Girls Protective Pets" and you'll see the Legion of Protectors I just described. It's all pictures though but DANG THESE THINGS ARE TERRIFYINGLY BEAUTIFUL AND DEADLY! I've seen ALL the pictures of the kind of destruction these things can do! So I KNOW it has to be as real as this Video!
It is possible for them to produce up to 25 pearls. But the thing that is catching my eye is the fact that they are all the same shade and they are so round.
