I’ve never seen a hedgehog. We obviously don’t have them in Australia but from watching your videos, I get the impression they are cute and very bossy? 😂
I think everybody thinks they are cute but they are not very sociable. They mostly live solitary lives only coming together to mate or fighting to mate, they don’t like sharing but even saying that they are fascinating creatures. Normally they hibernate over the winter but we don’t seem to get a real winter anymore. This last year we had two that didn’t hibernate for the first time but in the SW of England that is now the normality. They are interesting to watch. In the last 50 years we’ve lost over 90% of Hedgehogs and there are lots of people, now, who have never seen one. They are very much a victim of modern life.
