As an avid nature enthusiast, I often find myself deep in the wilderness, creating rock shelters that blend seamlessly with the natural environment. My goal is to craft shelters that provide safety and comfort without disrupting the natural landscape. In this video, I'll show you how I build a rock shelter complete with a functional fireplace and a candle holder.
The first step in my wild hearthstone crafting strategy is selecting the right location. I look for a stable rock formation that offers natural protection. It’s crucial to ensure the site is safe from falling debris and far from any potential flooding areas. Once I find the perfect spot, I clear the ground, removing any loose stones or debris.

Arrange rocks in a circle or a semi-circle, leaving an opening for air flow. This design helps to contain the fire and direct heat into the shelter. In addition to the fireplace, crafting a candle holder is a practical way to provide light in your shelter. Find a flat, stable rock to serve as the base. I use this space for building the fire. This method keeps the fire contained and provides a steady source of heat. Using dead or fallen trees is essential to ensure minimal environmental impact.
