I seen the comment about being bored with the descriptions of areas which is crazy because that part of the video is actually what hooked me. I never knew Indonesia was a mix of species that originate half from Asia and half from Australia. Very fascinating. Great content i loved it.

Thank you so much for the kind words and for appreciating this detail! 😊 Indonesia is indeed unique with its biological crossover between two continents, creating an incredibly diverse and unique ecosystem. I'm really glad that the area descriptions caught your interest. Hope you continue following the channel to discover more fascinating facts! 🌏👍

I was under the impression that the Cassowary was endemic to Australia. Thank you for correcting my misconception.
@wildnatureus2024
@wildnatureus2024 3 дня назад
You're very welcome! 😊 It's a common misconception, but you're not alone in thinking that. While the cassowary is indeed found in Australia, it's also native to New Guinea and nearby islands. The southern cassowary, in particular, is the species you’ll find in northeastern Australia, while other species are spread across New Guinea. 🐦🌴 Glad I could help clear that up, and thank you for being open to learning more! Keep the curiosity alive!

Very informative video. I have 2 observations. First, it has recently been confirmed that Komodo dragons have venom in their saliva. The venom in addition to the copious amount of bacteria causes the relatively quick death of their prey. That said, it is the venom that plays the major role. Second, while it is universally accepted that the green anaconda is the heaviest snake most experts view the reticulated python as the longest snake. BTW, i do really enjoy the format of your videos. Please keep them coming.
@wildnatureus2024
@wildnatureus2024 3 дня назад
Thank you so much for your detailed feedback and kind words! 😊 I'm glad you enjoyed the video and found it informative. You're absolutely right about both observations. Komodo Dragon Venom: Recent studies have indeed confirmed that Komodo dragons possess venom glands that produce toxic proteins, which play a significant role in immobilizing and killing their prey. While the bacteria in their saliva can still contribute to infections, it’s the venom that primarily causes the rapid drop in blood pressure and shock in the prey. 🦎🐉 Longest vs. Heaviest Snake: Great point on the distinction between the green anaconda and the reticulated python. The green anaconda is indeed recognized as the heaviest snake due to its girth and weight, while the reticulated python is known as the longest snake species, often reaching incredible lengths. 🐍 I’m glad you enjoy the format, and I’ll definitely keep the content coming! Thanks for sharing these insights-comments like yours really add to the conversation. 😊👍

Thanks for acknowledging my points. I love your videos and the fact that you are open to, admittedly minor, corrections only serves to reinforce my support for your channel. I throughly enjoy your videos. That said, with all the facts that you present it is virtually impossible to get them all correct. Yours is the most informative nature channel that I have found to date. Thank you.

26:20 factually incorrect, reticulated pythons are the longest snakes in the world. anacondas are heavier tho, so they are considered the biggest, but they are NOT the longest.
@wildnatureus2024
@wildnatureus2024 2 дня назад
Great catch! 🐍 You’re absolutely right. Reticulated pythons hold the title for the longest snake species in the world, often reaching impressive lengths. While green anacondas are indeed heavier and considered the largest by weight, they don’t surpass the reticulated python in length. Thanks for pointing that out, and I appreciate you keeping the facts straight! 😊👍

Thank you for the great suggestion! We'll consider switching to the metric system in upcoming videos. We hope this approach will create the best experience for everyone! 🌍📏✨
