Why is everyone so upset about the wardens? They are doing their job pouching is wrong ! They have in force the law or everyone will be out hunting and there will be no animals to hunt then you will all be pissed off why there wasn't anyone over looking on the animals. You get caught you go to jail simple. don't do the crime or there's consequences.

My son and l,went to our property in Lassen County last week 5600 hundred elevation,a mile climb. Well we went through the wire fence there were 3 structures there. We just back out of the gate.called the Sheriff department.Be careful if you have land, you never know who could be on it.😅

I could tell he didn't survive the wreck. Prayers to the family regardless of time. It hurt my soul because I was in a wreck seatbelts on ...in a older Land Rover but I was passed out an my driver just closed his eyes an we rolled into a creek. That creek I was locked in upside down seatbelt drowning helping to drown me. Billy Butts and Lori Kubish litterly saved us. I was knocked out and water was getting close to my mouth and nose. The most ironic part is my sister Mary is buried there in 83 . When you have a Angel your life source...and she saved me. There's no way Billy would be in the same place as the same time...The most ironic part is my older sister Mary has been buried right there since 83. I love you I miss your spunk I miss doing your hair.
Being an avid outdoorsman and having the freedom to go up to our national forests whenever I want take my dog go hiking backpacking fishing, I live for that but I’ve run into some very strange folks up in the mountains, I understand hunting when you hunt for food, I don’t understand Having a trophy hanging on your wall but I guess that’s how it is, and these damn poachers really piss me off, and then the drug abusers people out there with all their drug habits, I really hate seeing all the road signs etc. being shot up by these idiots with their guns, total irresponsible gun owners and I see them all the time I can’t stand it. I’ve also seen many abandon camps & they leave all their beer cans garbage etc. and I’ve run into hunters that are half drunk it’s a joke.
Insane you can't sell taxidermy bear rugs there. It costs lots to get them done and sometimes you need to sell. Strange they would rather you throw them away?

My boys all know how to safely handle and hunt regularly. My youngest is 10. However in that situation I wouldn't have handed anything to my son as he has no buisness being in the middle of that. But I can and have handed them firearms in a select few situations. However all firearms are always locked up in 3 of my 4 gun safe and the 4th safe is for my ammo. We are very aware of the dangers of our hobby and sport and regardless of my boys being raised around firearms we do not see any reason to risk it.
Australia used to be just as gun happy as the US until your government took them away. Responsible gun owners actually teach children proper gun safety and to not use them as playthings.
The Warden shot the bear legally and had it made into a rug years ago. They used the rug as bait to catch the guy buying it because you can't sell it or there would be all kinds of poachers killing bears and selling them for money. He's been buying and selling all kinds of animals that aren't legal to have or sell.
The trophy hunter is in the wrong because he is only doing it for a trophy, not to help feed his family or someone else's. Animals should only be hunted as a means of survival. No one needs a bear skin rug to survive.

Poaching animals is one thing but being in a group (together and not scattered in other areas) is not poaching. If you’re allowed 3 each then as a group you can reach the limit
