"Mom's riding shotgun." Other than that part, that seemed like a pretty standard country date. Why go to dinner and a movie when you can enjoy the piece, serenity and scenery of the backroads without paying a corkage fee?

Bad idea, pay the fee and shut it. The parents can pay, if not tough shit. A 16 year old is capable of poaching and causing damage to the species and environment.

Fishing should not require a license till age 18 let's keep kids kids.. a 16 year old may not have the $80 for a license.. I'm reaching out to state legislation but the crooks only care about money. I had to pretend to be 16 till I graduated and had my own money..

Well that sucks, ever hear of a newspaper route? I grew up with an alcoholic mother who wouldn’t have a dime, i was running around newspapers at 13 years old making money for my fishing license because in my province you need one at 12. They’re not crooks, they’re just regular people doing a job you wouldn’t understand.

Why don’t you find what the reasoning is behind requiring a fishing license at 16…my family spent a lot of time in the Sierras on trips, camping and fishing…when I turned 16 I knew I needed the license so I cut lawns in the neighborhood for the money….but today, suggesting to a 16 year old that they EARN the money would go over like a fart in a space suit

@@oppusumboy223that’s California for ya. I wouldn’t live there even if I got a free mansion and everything else paid for. Just couldn’t even pay me a million dollars to live there. Worst state out of all 50. $21 for a license in Iowa. I pay an extra $14 for a 3rd line.

My brothers and I met up under the banyan tree in Lahaina Maui and one brother gave us each zip-lock baggies with ashes of our deceased brother. He said that going through TSA screening the agent pulled the baggies out of his pack and asked "What's in the bags" and we he replied "My brother" she quickly put them back.
