As winter arrives in the mountains of Norway, I bring you along as I document the harsh conditions that the Norwegian wildlife must endure to survive. The adventure takes me through stunning landscapes, on exhausting hikes and through unpredictable weather.

Thanks! The weatherforecast was quite a bit off, so I was not prepared for conditions of that extreme level. Fortunately I am fit and persistant, and I didn’t have any unlucky situations, so it ended well this time. But I am richer in experience, and won’t do the same again without comprehensive planning and preparation

Incredible video, pictures and beautiful scenery. How do you know how to go back to base camp?Do you have a GPS or you just know that area very well?what are those things at 15:50? Thank you

Thank you so much! I knew the direction to go as I had taken out a rough compass course, and was following that. The thing at 15:50 is known as a cairn. Traditionally they were set up by the coast by old kings to warn bypassers of their presence, I believe. Whereas here up in the mountains, it's just something some hikers do to "keep the tradition going" for fun. In the summertime, this area is used quite a bit by hikers.
