a few other tips: Understand lane matchups. The lillia example 6:05: You have an ezreal sona against rakan samira. Ezreal Sona are so weak in the early game and they have no push, because ezreal wave clear sucks and sona early game is really weak. Samira a strong early game adc. Meanwhile you have a voli top, a strong early game champ. You dont have to move from drake to herold if you understand who will most likely have lane prio. Solo Carry mindset for Solo Q: If you play solo Q, play for yourself. Play a carry. That is why herold is 10x better, you get at least half of the gold from turret plates. I try to place it when my laner is base because I want all the gold. I can snowball the game with that lead. Which lanes should you almost never gank: Tank v Tank toplanes. You have no impact if you get your tank ahead, because the enemy jungler will destroy you botlane if gank top too often. A tank is still a tank. They are not as gold reliant as adcs. Reset early for objectives and dont run around with 3k gold. Ganks should have a high probability of being succesfull, around 80%. You can take riskier ganks if you have no jungle camps up, because you cant do anything else except ganking or warding anyways. Dont stop clearing your jungle after 8min. Continue. If you play a carry jungler try to aim for 5k gold from jungle in 15min. Carry junglers suck if you fall behind. You will almost always get more gold from camps than from kills. Dont flip objectives when you are the stronger team or you have a numbers advantage. Turn on them and then do it again. Some junglers can steal objectives really easy. I play a lot of evelynn. She can steal objectives at 3k in the late game. Not a lot of players know that. If you figure out that one or more of your teammates are really bad, avoid ganking them and avoid any plays around them that rely on them using their brain. Play towards the strenght of your champ. Is there anything your champ can do better than anyone else? Most likely yes, then do it! learn how to draft the right champ for the game. Some junglers get countered really hard by certain champs. It makes the game next to unplayable for you if the enemy jungler is somewhat on your skill level. Only fight when you have an advantage. Dont flip the game. You cant expect to climb when you flip the game at the 1st drake every game by fighting a 4v4 or 5v5. You dont have much controll over the outcome of a 5v5. Junglers will hit lv5 at 2:00 if you got all of your 6 camps and 1 scuttle. They are lv 5 prior to anyone else. Use that for ganks. Understand tempo
So much of this lingo isn't helpful at all because I haven't touched League in 10 years and don't know wtf you're saying It's like in Finding Nemo: "It's like he's trying to speak to me, I just know it!"
By the way, not all objectives are dragons and baron. Pushing a turret in the opposite lane where the enemy team is taking objective is also called a trade. After they get that let's say dragon. After they take dr, they will go herald, you can position ur wards there and try for a steal. This is what I do in solo q, 73% win rate this season. 😊
maybe another thing to add - ranged enemy support=wave pushed to you melee enemy support=wave pushed to enemy tower There's always other cases like both being ranged and both being melee but if they meet the main premises it should give you a better time deciding if you are able to path to duo lane gank or not
It still boggles my mind how good junglers can carry the game singlehandedly, I played support and occasionally got autofilled as jungle, I can be strong in the early game but midgame if my team can't do sh and lose the game
NEVER GO FOR DRAGON. THE BUFFS DO NOTHING. YOUR RANDOMS WON'T KNOW HOW TO USE THE BUFFS PROPERLY. GOING HERALD WILL GIVE YOURSELF AND TEAM 1.7K GOLD WHICH IS A FULL BOOTS ITEM. HERALD MID WILL GIVE PERMA PUSH STRAIGHT TO NEXUS.

Gold is just unspeced stats. Destroying one turret shares 75 gold with the whole team regardless of distance The gold efficiency of a long sword is about 40 gold per stat. So destroying a turret effectively gives your whole team almost two AD. The local gold is worth 100 extra, bringing that number closer to 5. and that's without factoring in plating gold Dragon is based on 3% of AD. This works it's way up to maybe 10+ ad at full build for an ad heavy champ Let me repeat that, *full build* By the time of first drag, you're looking at maybe 5 or 6 AD. So when you trade herald for drag, you're giving their whole team comperable stats to dragon, plus you're giving their jungler a colossal gold lead, and you're giving their mid laner a nice bonus as well And hell, all of this assumes that it's fire drag. If it's any of the other three it's even more insignificant. The only time you should ever go drag is if they're at herald first, and you can't contest because your team is full of pisslows with dragon Brainrot from watching this video
good point but I'm not talking about one dragon bro. I'm looking at the big picture which is about soul >>> herald anytime of the day. If you really want herald over dragon then there should be no issue as both have their pros and cons

Dragon is useless. Dictate your clear to start herald-side. Focus on your camps early as they spawn and your gold per minute should be 950+ averaged per game. Edit: Mute the morons who have never played a single game jungle, or just don’t understand it. Dragons are supplemental SMALL buffs only to be considered after herald.
I've recently started playing jungler from mid/sp to fill when I'm playing with my friends. I'm still a bit confused on which are the perfect lane n condition to release the herald,i know that you have to release it below 7min for plating but idk like which lane to releases it. So i was wondering if you or anyone can explain it, thanks
Good question, almost forgot to put that part. For herald usage, always put it at mid unless you are winning and it only has 1-2 plates left then you put it in the other lane with the most plates
Taking herald will ALWAYS be better than dragon since plates + first turret is essentially 1k gold. Infernal is the best dragon and gives you negligible stats less than a 500g item. YOU get gold (sometimes an ally splits it). YOU don’t make a mistake and YOU get nothing but benefits (gold and tempo) from taking the herald. Your teammates are fodder for your success.
I think mathematically dragon is only better than herald if you get soul later on. the buffs from each individual dragon is pretty small but the buff from soul is pretty big.
@@exe2543 Mathematically, herald gives more gold as the first objective. Neither team will get soul if you run 1k+ gpm on a jungler - the game will end by 10min
Play Gwen. She's the strongest jungler in terms of scaling. She can keep mid push and one shot nexus You want to focus your clear around herald and turret. Then when objectives are almost up you Bush camp for a kill. Gwen is a farming jungler.you only think about ganks when you hit level six or item spike.
Problem with your pathing explanation: Objectives also dictate your initial clear. Herald is infinitely better than dragon and clearing your baron side jungle and pathing to your duo (dragon lane) is better. If you are efficient in your clear, your baron-side jungle will spawn just before herald comes on the map. Therefore, allowing for maximum efficiency. Your camps win you games the majority of the time. Be consistent and don’t bend over for other players.
