In 2015 I worked in a St Vincent De Paul thrift store. The management had a great deal of leeway when choosing in store sales in addition to the district approved sales and specials. One day we were sort of bored and decided to start clearing out some of the merchandise by offering additional price reductions. The assistant manager and I decided to have a Call of the Wild sale. Any item shaped like an animal, showing animals or with animal print was 20% off. We offered an additional 10% off to any customer who would make animal noises when checking out. We made animal sounds when doing the in store announcements and the customers happily participated. We had so much fun that day! A few customers just gave a meow or an oink, but many really went for it.
