This was the intro animation that the @makeoriginals team created for the 2007 Minneapolis AICP chapter! I came up with the concept and directed the animation. Production design by Babe Elliot Baker. Music by Steve Horner. makevisual.com
I just noticed, many characters from this animation appear in the little locomotive! Like the woman in the green dress, and the train looks like him a bit!
I love the locomotive. He's an ornery old piece of work with a ton of character. There is something of an Early Cuyler vibe with him, especially when he gets that Do Not Touch The Trim expression at 2:14. The locomotive, as far as I am concerned, really stole the show in this short.
I miss that It’s my families tradition that every time we ever went to the magic kingdom that the first thing we do is go straight to the train station We did it up until it closed TEMPORARILY
Your kidding! These are guys who did the recent animation, did this 12 years ago? Amazing!! I had a feeling that the locomotive looked oddly familiar… and a vast contrast too. One is willing to follow the rules and keep everyone safe and happy while the other one goes off the rails, both figuratively and literally. 😂
The Train Of This Animation Is What I Think About Apearing On "The Brave Locomotive 2" Where Linus Meets Him While Working, They Start a Challenge About Who Can Be The Best Vintage Train ever This Is What i Think About As a Concept
After watching "the brave locomotive", it seems strange to me to see this animation by the same author, (Even knowing that this animation is even older), but nothing denies that he has great talent for these projects.
If Neptune had planetary rings similar to Saturn, it would be a remarkable sight! The rings would likely be composed of ice particles, dust, and other small debris, similar to Saturn's rings. These rings would orbit around Neptune, encircling the planet in a spectacular fashion. The rings would add a new level of beauty and intrigue to Neptune's appearance, making it even more captivating to observe from afar. However, it's important to note that as of my last knowledge update in September 2021, Neptune does not have any known rings.
I like to imagine that since the engine looks so much like Linus but came before the brave locomotive that the train in this film is Linus’ ancestor although I don’t know how family trees work for locomotives
