It's time to kick off summer right by starting this year's batch of homebrew. One of my hobbies is the awesome art of home brewing. Beer, wine, and mead is really fun to make and you can try a lot of different variations.

This year I'm trying a different approach, making my own yeast! We listened to Jereme Zimmermann, the self-described "Appalachian Yeti Viking", while attending the Mid-Atlantic Permaculture Convergence and brought his ideas on traditional mead making to our own table.
