ANOTHER BIKEPACKING TRIP. THIS TIME SOLO UP TO THE HENHOLE, I PUSHED THE BIKE A BIT GOING UP AS ITS A BIT ROCKY BUT COMING BACK WAS GREAT.

Quality trip mate and some nice gear. One Wind make some lovely tarps and hammock gear so it was nice to see that shelter performing well. Send beers, radio, tents and all manner of other things. Atb mate.

12 hour days at work, luxury that is Andy. Yes humans are dangerous and very annoying! Carrying all that beer on the bike, you mad? Lovely little spot for a tarp come bivvy camp. Bog Mertle good for keeping Mr Midge away. Burgers, bacon and cheese looked amazing. Free gear, lucky bugger! Great wildcamp come bikepacking adventure, well done to you 👍🍺

I’d rather do no hours at work 😂😂 the human element was ok in this. I only saw 2. Beers on the bike does the work. Bonus. Loving the burgers 🍔 again it’s my thing. I’m using more free gear on the next camp. Good stuff coming. Cheers for watching atb. 👍

Great video Andy! What a spot man. I had a can of that Arcade caper last weekend and it was like drinking 27 year old lucozade that had the lid left off mate. You were probably lucky not to get double tapped in the eye socket by an adder up there this time of year. Loved it, thanks for the upload and sharing the experience.

I was in the Cheviots Saturday night and thought that was your van in the carpark when I got back Sunday morning.yea the showers were a bit unexpected but the wind did keep the midges away

Did you know it’s all uphill from hethpool. It’s deceiving like. I’ve walked it many times always knackered. Coming back on the bike I hardly pedalled. Just up the two hills. The rest I flew down. It was tricky after hoolie like. 👍

You do know that tapping the top of a beer can is the wrong place to do it lol? Tap the sides, it releases the bubbles and stops overflow and fizz, I've always wondered why people tap the top. What stove do u use andy? Does it spread the heat around the pan well. My stove is great at boiling water but just hotspots a pan and food sticks straight away

It’s the MSR wind pro. I used to use a cheap vango stove but like you say it ruined the centre of the pans. This one is great it spreads the heat nice. And has a great simmer. You can also invert the gas on it. 👍

If your gears are skipping you may need to fine-tune the BARREL ADJUSTERS by the brakes. I learnt to do mine on RU-vid........save yourself some cash👍👍
