Finkle is on camera saying the offer/money was real, but they wanted to go in a different direction. Then Lou Dibella was fired directly after for setting the meeting up. Now Al is not letting his fighters take advantage of the Saudi offers. Benevidez said in a recent interview that his contract doesn’t allow him to entertain any Saudi offers. I never questioned Wilders desire to fight AJ but the people around him were making it impossible. We disagree on who the winner would have been. Sure Wilder could have clipped him, but I’ve always liked AJs combination punching, with power to give him the edge, but I can’t predict the future so anything could have happened in that fight. We’re talking heavyweights. Wish it would have happened sooner, but if Wilder can clip Zhang, then he’ll have his confidence back and I believe the fight will happen. Better late than never!
