Walk-through and test paddle of the Wilderness Systems Tarpon 120.
The Tarpon 120 is part of the original sit-on-top fishing kayaks that Wilderness Systems came to market with. It is a popular kayak among anglers who do a lot of open water kayaking. 12 feet and 3 inches long, 30 inches wide and only weighs 63 pounds. It is a boat that can really cover distance but is also easy to maneuver in tight spaces. It tracks well considering it is a shorter boat.
The is a stable kayak that offers more stability than the framed seats that sit higher out of the water. Because the seat sits lower to the water, it will be more stable when paddling. There is a hatch in the bow and open deck storage in the stern. A great option for kayak fishing.
