@@kennedysballsThe only reason he played better than Dame was because Dame was playing injured from the first game of the season whilst also having the way superior team fit abs talent wise
DMills: *puts PG over Harden* Mike: “If you could pick Harden or PG who are you picking?” DMills: Harden. Everyone: *perplexed faces* I’m so dead rn bro😭😭
At the time it wasn’t really that atrocious. OG was having a really good season while DeRozan’s numbers dipped a lot and that Spurs team didn’t do anything noteworthy that season. And Kenny always had a bias towards players with great defensive stats (tbh I have the same bias). But this take definitely doesn’t stand right now
@@damienthegreatone8033 DeMar had a 21.6 ppg and 7 assist season while playing the 4 for the first time. OG averaged 16 that season and played in like 20 less games. Sure OG had good defense too but he was also on a good team with other good defenders. It was atrocious. He was just trying too hard to be the guy that values defense and doesn't have bias.
@@NATUR3F33LS it ain’t all about ppg and apg and stats. Eye test is very important. Also, it doesn’t mean you’re wrong, far from it actually. But neither is Kenny. The fun thing about these lists is that there’s no specific criteria, so you make your own criteria and classify players as you wish, without too much extravaganza ofc
Somebody gotta start checking P , bro says some crazy shit and no one says a damm thing , but as soon as someone says something he disagrees with he makes a big ass deal about it 💀
i think they just don’t wanna argue with him cause he’ll never admit if he’s wrong and he’ll start getting mad. kenny is the only one that can out argue him
I swear P doesn't even listen when someone disagrees with him. He just sits there and waits for them to stop talking so he can just say "nah youre just wrong tho" lmao
Bro please do a “you know imma rant when I talk to Ja” comp it kills me every time. I know it’ll be a short video but it’s so funny bro they do it every pod 😂😂
@@NATUR3F33LS You're blaming that loss entirely on Ben Simmons? That's silly. Why can't it also be the case that the Hawks were just really good, which was largely because of Trae. And the Hawks recent failures can't really be blamed on Trae because he has been good every year since.
@@somebodyimportant3490 did I say that? Numerous things went wrong. But it is a FACT that if Ben was even at half what he usually was, they are winning that series. and... when they're good it's all because of Trae, but when they're bad Trae takes no blame?
Not gonna lie Im not mad at the OG take either. Demar isnt a 1 on a contender or a 2 and neither is OG. So who's a better 3 that fits with a contender most likely. Probably OG because he can shoot and defend
Trae has 1 year in his career where he shot over 44% from the field😂. That playoff run P is talking about also says his counting stats are great they are not. He shot 41% from the field and shot 31% from 3.
@@khizarhaider3228 That season he was injured, sucked for the Nets, demanded a trade after quitting during games and had another playoff failure in the playoffs.
And some of P’s reasoning because he said he was tired of Dame being on the Blazers and not being on a contender…but now he’s going on rants about how “social media culture” is ruining the way we look at careers lmfaooo.
That year and the logic he had for Trae being in front of Damian Lillard was wild! There’s 0 logic to it. The performances he had against the nuggets who clearly had a much superior team in contrast to Atlanta Hawks was crazy! Ranking him above Lillard after one playoff run against teams that capitulated (etc., Knicks and Sixers, however doing quite well against a Milwaukee Bucks who didn’t have Giannes for I think 2 games) Lillard has pedigree of almost being an MVP candidate that year as well, he just low key don’t like blazers and Lillard to counteract and argue with Dmills 😭 He also hella bias with Ben Simmons and PG13 for no reason giving them both so many passes
Trae being over Dame at that time wasn’t crazy going into that season, he ended up averaging 28 and 10 on 46/38/90 while Dame got hurt too so his pick actually looked good until this season lol
@@SameDolla0 we don’t know what Dame would’ve done that specific season if he was healthy Trae averaged insane offensive numbers tho and dragged the Hawks to the playoffs. You can put up Trae’s season last year with any of Dame’s best years because Dame has never been the playmaker Trae is, although he’s a better scorer
Trae young thing isnt that crazy tbh. Trae is a noticeably better playmaker and penetrates better. Dame is a better defender but they're both bad so it doesnt matter. Scoring overall at the time im giving it to Trae but dame is a better shooter. Miss me with the clutch stats because hes ass after the 1st round
I need mike to come back lol. I think after the “mike don’t be watchin ball” got to him a lil now nd he’s a lil hesitant nd always trying to be right imo
