Mention the word 'Wildie' to British anglers and it evokes small, slender and powerful carp that reside in old ponds and moats around Britain. These carp come from an older strain that are linked to the River Danube and have migrated across Europe over the last five hundred years. Dan is one such angler who embraces the atmosphere of these places. In this film he seeks out four pools, and meets Sister Walburga at an abbey steeped in 600 years of history and hopefully the chance to catch a wildie?
