If the pay was solid and benifits wore solid I might have considered it.... Not interested in being poor and risking my life... It baffles me what the government is willing to spend on and not spend money on.
I'm currently in the process of becoming a cop but this also one job I would love to do maybe has a seasonal position much respect for firefighters and what they do god bless and stay safe out there
In summer season start and ending watering with pipe shower type.....morning and evening little one time in day... Also check plant need water or not Sunday..... Holiday time......

I’m really mad there is a cut off age of 35-37. I’m 47 and a native of Arizona and work outside in all weather conditions and walk an average 8 miles a day even when it’s 117 degrees out! I would really like to be involved somewhere in this field and make a positive change in my state!
Chec out positions and classes outside of your jurisdiction, and one you are willing to travel to, I just finished my class and had people drive 2-3+ hours to come to class and we all graduated
get ready for next year. cardio is important. the pack test is 3 miles, carrying 45lbs in under 45 minutes. get your ducks in a row and your onboarding will be cake!
