I also recently discovered these kingfishers being active in my local area. I placed a branch close to where my hide is. Often playing with bird (kingfisher) sounds also helps a lot. They tend to reply to these calls and will land on your branch eventually.
I’ve been trying to get photos and video of a kingfisher for over a year. No luck yet. If there’s no challenge, there’s no fun or satisfaction. Very nice upload!
this video is a a representation of my struggles to get photos of my local kingfishers. Had one good/lucky day first time I tried but the next 4 times nothing.
Glad you stayed patient and got to capture the kingfisher! Such a pretty little bird!! I was wondering did you hear back about the storks as well. Would be amazing we if filmed the same ones! ✌🏼
Hey Little One, I did sorry, It's not one of ours, ours start with a GB, but he did give me this link to give you where you can put in the ring number details and they find out for you where it is from for you. app.bto.org/euring/lang/pages/rings.jsp Good luck, and let me know how you do with it! Sorry I forgot to message you! xx
@@haydnthomasphotography8084 shame they are not the same! Don’t worry about it, thanks for getting back to me. I tried with the link you send but it’s said it can’t find anything. But thank you for looking into it for me.
Hi James, it’s a Deerhunter Explore Smock in adapt cam. When I bought mine last September from them it was £107.95, now it’s £225.00, and there is a lot better out there for that kind of money, it’s good, but it ain’t that good! Hope this helps
