Great documentary! I have lived in the desert of Arizona for 38 years yet I learned several new facts from your documentary. One thing you didn't mention is that ringtail cats can live deep underground in abandoned mines, in complete darkness. They feed on bats, which they hunt from ledges using only sound. They are truly amazing little creatures!

Thank you for that very interesting Ringtail information. Certainly knew they are called Miners' Cats but did not know that they eat Bats inside of mines. Amazing!

@@Juscz That is the place I have most often seen them. Look at the Abandoned and Forgotten Places channel on RU-vid. Gly caught a great shot of a Ringtail on a ledge 400' into an old mine in the Granite Wash Mts. A good-sized population of RIngtail Cats live in the old mines in the Little Harquahala Mts., around seven miles South of Salome. If you wait quietly you can sometimes see them scurrying in and out of the mineshafts at sunset. Totally cute little buggers! I don't think it would be possible to keep one as a pet, though. Like racoons, they are way just too hyper!

@@maloukadbouk8905 , I just looked up on the internet Wood Buffalo National Park in Canada. It seems amazing. I did not know of this park before you alerted me to it. Perhaps my wife and I can get out there in the next year or two. Would love to do a video about it.
