Thanks for sharing your mental health story it’s so important. I do wildlife photography for the sake of my grey matter, great content by the way.

This is the first video of yours that I've come across, and I must say that I find your story of getting into wildlife photography so familiar, I find it very theraputic to get out and shoot photos, though I wouldn't say I'm as dedicated as you and I'm nowhere close to being professional - maybe one day. I hope you have a great 2022

I am a serious (I suppose) amateur. I don't know how one would make a living out of wildlife photography, but I have a lot of respect for those who do. Images of animals are wonderous, but very few people actually want to hang it on a wall.

Fox’s are my bogey animal too. Three years ago I bought a new house, we back into farmland and the previous owners had been feeding two foxes for years, they came every night and even the neighbours used to text them to tell them they were there. I moved in, never saw them once. 🤬🤬🤬 BTW Please don’t feel pressured to produce weekly content, lots of people I follow are up late Sunday night trying to squeeze a VLOG out. Less is more......................... 👍

You can also use a pop-up hunting blind instead of a suit. It will hide your movements as well and you can move around better while waiting. Imho

Good morning to you from snowy northern Alberta, Canada. Just happened, literally, coming across this site and thought I would give it a try. Well I don't normally do Q&As first but hey there's always a first time and I was pleasantly surprised by your story - very similar to mine! Looking forward to your videos - so here goes. Thank you for your honest answers and good luck with the hare and the lynx and the otters and the owls....

Nice video. I've been following you for some time and will continue to do so. Your channel is about what we like to do, photographing wildlife, and not a lot of "omg Nikon just released this and Canon released that, and if you don't use and have a bunch of mirrorless your out" kinda shit. I like your vlogs, photos and style. And not to forget the way you bring your viewers around and show how you get your images and footage. I'm really excited to watch more content from you. Happy new year 🙂

Hi there, I have just come across your channel and I think it's brilliant. I myself like to walk about and see what wildlife I can see, but also I have been thinking of setting up a feed station and I've been leaving seeds at certain places I plan to use. I loved the video and got some very useful tips from it. Using aperture priority, what shutter speeds was the camera choosing and do you have a shutter speed limit whilst using AV. Nice images and see you on the next one 📸👍🏽

Super video! You’ll love Canada for wildlife photos. “West is best” as they say out west. Vancouver Island island me is the best. Bear, coastal wolves, Bald eagles and dear all around you in certain places Comox valley which is mid-island. Just north of there in Campbell River you can get all sorts of boat wildlife tours and we’ve photographed Grizzlies, Black bears, dolphins, Humpback whales, Orcas in some of the most stunning scenery. The island has the highest concentration of Cougars in North America but chances of seeing one are slim. Airtransat is the cheapest for flights. Last time we flew into Vancouver and back to Manchester for £500 return.Hope you make a video of your trip ! If you want to save money on photo editing software give Affinity photo a go on a free trial.

Hi Paul, Thanks for all the information, I really appreciate that and it is indeed west that we’re going. We’re flying into Vancouver and then heading to Whistler, Banff, Jasper, Vancouver and then Vancouver island 🤞 thank too for watching the video, it means a lot! All the best 👍
@paulkirk5760
@paulkirk5760 2 года назад
@@mywildlifeimages we’ve covered that route a couple of times! You’ll love it. If you’re only in the south of Van isle best wildlife is between Sooke and Port Renfrew but get off the highway to explore. If you do get up to Campbell River check out Campbell River Whale Watching site! Check and like picture perfect Vancouver island FB page it’ll give you lots of ideas and some great photography. If you get the ferry from Vancouver Island to Victoria keep a look out as last time we saw 3 pods of Orca from the ferry. Don’t hesitate to ask me any questions!
