So in this video this week I summarise a year as a wildlife photographer on RU-vid, when I first started I knew very little about wildlife where to find it where to go what to see, what the birds are called etc.
One thing I did learn is that you have to be patient and wait for the wildlife to come to you rather than you go to the wildlife.
It's been a fun packed year with me driving up and down the country visiting fantastic nature reserves meeting great people and photographing some wonderful wildlife along the way.
I would like to thank you all for subscribing and liking and commenting in all my videos so far to date, I'm looking forward to another fun packed year meeting you guys out on the road, I'm creating more videos to share my adventures with you all.

The photography has been excellent. You've clearly put a lot of time, effort and money into your channel and produced some great content. But what i really appreciate is your honesty. You're not trying to be anything other than yourself and it's so refreshing.

It has been so great to follow you on your journey in becoming a wildlife photographer. Your videos are always a real pleasure to watch, you learn very fast and I think you passed with flying colours within the first one or two. I am so glad you made the decision a year ago Ash, so thank you for taking us all along with you and for producing such wonderful content. Cheers mate, and remember - if you are enjoying it, then you are doing it right!! 👏👏👏👍

I saw you for the first time and subscribed straight away, there aren't many RU-vidrs who take really good photos. I can imagine the effort you put into it... many people just advertise something that they often don't understand much about and often babble on. Good Work!!

Great video, mate. Found you through Scott's channel and love your photos. There aren't many wild mammals over here, but there are a lot of birds and insects, so I concentrate more on bird photography and macro. I'm still trying to get my hands on a Canon 100-400 L for birds, but have just acquired a Canon 100 f/2.8L for macro and closer bird shots. Wildlife photography is addictive and I love every second of trying to capture an image. Thanks for creating your channel, I'm going to do a marathon watch now that I've found your channel :)

,Hi Carl many thanks for the sub, yeah it's great wildlife photography, photographing anything and everything from insects to butterflies dragonflies to hares and deer etc, I also have the 100 F 2.8 macro lens, but not used it much, maybe when spring comes around again, I will get chance. 👍
