Two lions in Africa fight over who will be the one to mate with a fertile female. One lion loses and ends up with a bloody nose. Female lions try to intervene the fight.
Mike Welch lol you are dumb anyone can say you are amateur, Ever heard a Lion Roar from close? I bet you haven't, because it is 114 decibels, 24 times more than Lawn Mower, Louder than any cat.
My cats fight so much that one of them got an ear infection from a bite or scratch. But watching this... I don't think I'll doubt a lion's strength again.
U took the words right out of my mouth. I was about to write the same message until I saw yours. Great minds think alike hope u enjoy the new live action lion king👍😆
This is a fight to establish dominance. Is one of the Fates from one of the famous lion Clans the Lions the mapalo clan of sabi sand. A Savage clan of six lions that reportedly killed over a hundred lions in Sabi Sand in less then a year.
This film was taken from a documentary about one of the most Savage male lion Clans ((The mapoho of Sabi Sand.)) It's six brother lions however they adopted one into there group. They have took over Sadi Sand. reported killing over hundred lions in one year. This was a family of one of their hostile takeovers.
@@christopherespinal4620 Nah, it's the other way around. None of the lions above are Mapogos. The documentary about the Mapogos, they used this footage to illustrate lion fights. They of course have Mapogo footage in the documentary, but they don't do a good job of it. For instance, the narrate a fight between Mak and T, but the footage they actually use is a fight between T and Pretty Boy. Note also that it is a "clan" of hyenas. Male lions = coalition.
@@joshuad.flores3739 omg😂😂. Yep. We are too emotional. 🤣. I’m really not sure who is the invading male lion because the females seem so angry at both of them. Maybe a fight among brothers?
Lions are definitely the grumpiest cats, because they have a lot of testosterone they have those big manes. For the same reason they're bad-tempered beasts who want to rip the head of every other male they see.
Nhat Vu Black mane equals age, actually. That’s why females tend to mate with black-maned lions. A mane naturally darkens by age, thus black maned lions are older & more experienced.
It's tough being a male lion. You have to constantly fight to protect your females and territory. That's why male lions in the wild live only about ten years.
Your wrong on that one it was a take over attempt and it happened to the first attempt by the mapogos didn't go to well they're 6 brothers so the 2 brought back 2 more brothers the next time and they took over the pride killed the male and all the cubs
@um me Lions go for tougher prey than hyenas and wild dogs go for, I would like a clan of hyenas to even try taking down an elephant or a hippo or even a giraffe.. Then you have the right to speak about hyenas being better hunters you fucking disgusting hyena fan.
um me lions are just animals and act by instinct your wasting your time. And no lions don’t fight for stupid reasons they fight to protect their pride and mostly the cubs. Stop comparing animals it won’t get you anywhere. Think before you leap
John Doe they wouldn’t of won a single time if not armed with weapons, an unarmed human trying to fight a lion or tiger would be like a 6 year old fighting an adult man
I haven't heard this type of roar, fight roar, but I have been close enough to a lion just doing his normal roar, 4:46 this roar. It is powerful. You feel the shockwave of the roar. It is incredible. Majestic. I can only imagine that full force fighting roar.
I have domestic cats too as pets. I like the position they sometimes take to sleep or sit. Like emperors. It's no wonder cats have been worshipped for millenia.
The lioness that stayed by the lion's side and flopped down, well that's her man and she probably has some of his litter there trying to break it up. So they all jumped in it looks like on the lion that's not their father.
Doggy_manners bigol happiness lol true the one With the dark head is #Scar the one that is more lighter is #Simba but true #Scar always gets his ass kicked even in real life 😂🤣🤣🤣
@Abhinav Prakash show me a video of that happening show me a fully grown MALE Bengal or Siberian tiger get ripped apart by a full grown african lion not a tiger cub.. a fucken adult tiger. There isnt videos cause lion will never win. In Rome they would but tigers against lions and tiger would always win 1 out of 20 lions would beat the weakest tiger they used
@@aarongonzalez4458 lions are the most dominant large cat we have in this world, that's why they're revered as such. There is literally dozens upon dozens of tigers submitting to a full grown Male lion. I can supply links to further educate you if you're unaware. Enclosures across the world couple these cats quite often for shock value and its entertainment for sure but not healthy for the tigers per say bcuz they're solitary animals and their main drive is to not run the roost, a lions sole purpose is to do just that, it's a battle hardened cat. I've wrote several papers in school about this very topic because I found it strange when I viewed an enclosure abroad release one Male lion into a tiger den with about 12 tigers and literally every single tiger ran or was forced to fight. You have to realise tigers are very intelligent the risk to reward ratio when confronted with a large cat its natural instinct is to flee from injury. Lions are the exact opposite. Tigers are the ultimate super cat, very athletic but when it comes to who has the bigger balls more times than not it's the male lion. I dont say this because I want to engage in fandom over Majestic cats it's just my profession. Majored in vet tech biology ect, zoology. Worked in over 20 zoos and massive amounts of feild work. And to the contrary, I've never personally seen a tiger make a lion submit? Please supply links. I've seen good battles but in the end the lion is alpha. It's just how they're designed. Whether you like it or not just respect these animals while we got them. And too the Rome cooked stories, their exactly just that. Stories. If it happened back then, why isn't happening now? Literally every top animal trainer has stated the lions were hard to contain and ferocious in conflict with the tiger. I've done papers on that aswell, you can easily research this without confirmation bias. Tigers DO have an innate fear of lions. It's well documented. Ofcourse theres outliers in everything and each cat is different. And to the size of these animals, unless you've personally been up close to these cats you have absolutely no idea how massive they get. Its tit for tat but from my experience I've seen very impressive lions that dwarf the tiger. Climate dictates the size your referring too, cold climate cats like Siberian tiger get extremely obese in captivity. Which is not impressive. Their all big cats but be unbiased with your approach, 2 different cats with different lifestyles
@A A Lions and tigers weight overlap, neither is actually heavier than the other, I experienced and saw lions and tigers being weighed in person and the difference between them is minimum, with both being able to outnumber the other, even if let's say, the tiger was heavier, it would not be more than 20kg on average, which would probably not affect the outcome, lions are more battle proven, while tigers try to avoid fights as much as they can.
@A A The biggest lion subspecies are neither in the places you mentioned, the biggest lions mostly reside in the Sabi Sands and Botswana game reserve, or the Okavango Delta, there you will find the biggest lions, now, assuming your own statistics are correct and they are accurate, then the difference, like I said, is no more than 20kg, which would hardly affect the outcome of the battle, now that is just your assumptions, and of course, I would have very much preferred to see where your sources come from instead of having to ask, because, from these sources, I can tell you otherwise, that the weight of tigers and lions is minimum. Here is a link of the real weight estimates of both lions and tigers:www.tapatalk.com/groups/wildanimalwarfare/average-weight-of-male-lions-and-tigers-t128.html Your male lion weight estimates were correct, but you obviously exaggerated the tiger's weight by a good margin. Either way, to continue, male lions are not lazy, and they are just as active as the females in hunting, the myth that male lions hunt every once in a blue moon is fairy tale, male lions are actually solitary hunters just like tigers, it's the lionesses that are pack hunters, this is a popular misconception about lions, here is the evidence supporting my statements. 1st:www.thornybush.com/posts/are-male-lions-really-that-lazy/ 2nd:www.nbcnews.com/sciencemain/male-lions-do-help-hunting-after-all-6C10149668 I also haven't mentioned that male lions also do this while at the same time they patrol their territory and defend it from intruders which includes other male lions, hyenas, wild dogs, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes..etc They sleep because they need to conserve energy, it has nothing to do with their behavior, moreover, what kind of threats do tigers face except other tigers? A lion's mane protects its neck from the claws and jaws of a tiger, but a male lion would have a much easier time aiming for the neck of the tiger, also, male lions have the 3rd most powerful swipe in the animal kingdom, behind the tail swipe of the blue whale and the kick of a giraffe, here is the source:www.allempires.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=36072 So a lion has a much stronger paw swipe than the tiger, adding that it has a protective mane, the tiger's only real advantages are it's agility and the fact it can stand on two legs more comfortably than a lion could, their size and weight is nearly equal like I mentioned, male lions also are cast out from their prides at a young age where they need to defend themselves and it can last years, they protect and hunt for themselves, against threats that tigers do not have.
Lion dominance in animal kingdom is quite competitive and dangerous. Lions will normally fight to the death or at least really injure one another. Normally a pride of lions consists of one male and a bunch of females all in their essence are ready to mate. The Lion will mate with each of them in order to make the pride grow larger. The female lions will subsequently hunt down Deer, Buffalo, Water Buffalo, Elephants and Rhinos. Sometimes if a pack of female Lions are failing to take the prey down the Alpha male Lion will charge and take down struggling prey ready to eat. Male Lions will come across many lone Lions who are in search for a pride to lead, and the two Lions will battle it out. Sometimes the lone Lion will win the fight but very rarely.
When it cuts to Slo Mo, it becomes even more intense. When you watch the determination on each lions face and how they jump to get in the action, it's pretty dang incredible. Fearless!!
@micd2314 you're a goofball. Wherever there's fearlessness, there's no courage. Courage means persevering through your fear, and acting in spite of it. Lions are brave for their gladiatorial lifestyles, but that doesn't mean they're without fear.
It's amazing how lions are considered the epitome of bravery and ferocity throughout all of history regardless of geographical location or cultural traditions. Truly deserved of the title king of the jungle!
Both male lions are part of the same pride and are actually a coalition, but both of them are strong. At 1.14, you can see that the dark maned male attacked the other male. At the end, you can see that the same male "who supposedly lost the fight" and has a bloody nose is also mating, check 4.49 with one of the females. Also, the larger male was close to a female when he charged the darker male at the beginning meaning that he was mating with her and thus protecting her. Chances are the fight escalated because one of the males got too close to the female the other was mating with. My bet is that each male was mating with a different female. Taking a bloody nose doesn't make the other male a loser, he just took a hit.
No bro they are not on the same pride, i know those lion, it was king khulu the leader of mapogos coalition, he attack the dominant lion cause he want to claim the teritory, and what are you talking they are in the same pride? and its called coalition? did you know the meaning of coalition bro? coalition means party, how you called that coalition if they fighting, that seen is not a coaltion, thats a lion teritory warfare between 2 coalition. And last bro, when 2 dominant lion fighting in the same pride thats not called coalition thats we can call it a duel between alpha lion and matured male that want to became alpha lion.
That is not Makhulu...Makhulus face is diffrent from any lion, I'd spot him in the middle of a 100 lions with his little teardrop under his eye...I dont know how you can say this is Makhulu your crazy...These are part of this pride and this is about mating rights..why do you think the lionesses were biting at them both?
The lion never ceases to amaze me. Both the female and male are so powerful and beautiful in their own right. I can never get enough of seeing these awesome creatures in videos as I probably will only have the opportunity to either see them in a zoo environment or videos
the female ???? when we talk about power, we talk about the one who got the biggest power, individuals of the group who has less power become something that makes no sense to talk about "in terms of power". What this means, is that male are the powerful, not the females. And if females were powerful, they wouldn't need the male to deter hyenas, lions would have gotten extinct without the male power
So similiar to humans, the males go at it while the females gather around screaming to break the fight up. Alpha wins, show his dominance and get to bang in the bushes. Loser walks away with a bloodied nose.
@Ezeke99 M Um ... if you somehow didn't notice, the females were attacking _both_ males at some points. I'm operating on less than three hours sleep right now and I picked up on it.
Looks ta me like the winner was n badd shape, may have died later from those injuries, just like men when they r vying for a woman, their brains r below they're waist, literally
How I see these lions fight: Bite Bite Bite, and throw your weight onto the enemy How I see tigers fight: Manny paquiao punches and grapple See why a tiger has more chances of winning? A tigers bite is way stronger than a lion’s and they are quicker.
@@Harv-Kane no shit lions know how to fight because they fight lmao. But watch tigers vs tigers, and we’ll talk 🤔 observe the difference and tell me who look like the better fighter
this video show you there in no number one if you think you are strong enough today tomorrow will face another one strong more than you. usa-russia- china 😇
It's twice as cool in slow motion. Cause that it's amazing how they fight like that in Slo mo. Plus it sounds like a motorcycle engine when they roar like that in slow motion.
The lion that lost still has a lot of courage. He will become stronger. Knowing he’s defeated and accepting it by walking away. But still brave enough to counter attack while he’s walking away if need be.
Lions are practical too, not always fool hardy. When a lion assess the other as stronger it would more often, accept it and avoids fight unless it cannot avoid.
