Texture quality is much higher on this video because the game had the ability to go to 1600 x 1200, which is a little over 720p. This was upscaled by OBS. I also decided to keep the original aspect ratio rather than stretch like I did previously, and edited a simple gaussian blur of the video feed in the black bar areas.
