Great location. The important thing is if they can keep prices competitive. If the food is really good, that may be the main draw, bar and arcades will be icing on the cake, hope they can get really good local C&W acts! Come for the music, stay for the food & games.
I’m a fan of any place that has live music. Wildwood back in the days was a hotbed for bands/ musicians to come and play all the clubs/bars - I am glad to see it’s finally moving a bit back in that direction with the new nightlife emerging around the center of town - instead of everything up in NWW. Can’t wait to check it out - looks great 😎
Thanks Joey for your informative video. Shout out from Texas. The Honky Tonk Saloon looks like some of our C&W Clubs, two bars, food, cocktails, and dance floor. LOL! Beautiful views of the beach.
I love what they did with the place I grew up on the arcade, I went there so many times as a kid it’s looks amazing!! I’m thinking about going there for the Irish weekend in September?? I really want to check that place out..
More into rock music but like some country. Hope the food offerings ( will they have any?) and drinks are good! This place looks amazing! And the games are great if you have kids or are into gaming! Will DEFINITELY stop in!
Very Cool! Missed opportunity in my opinion to use the old boardwalk for the exterior instead of the Amish wood. I'm sure it will look great though. Will this be year round?
i actually wanted to hate it, but it looks great and i'm glad it's not taking over the entire mall like i assumed it would. the arcade was...nice, but it had super old games and was kinda dark and damp if i remember right. i went once (which was enough!) and i think this is a worthwhile replacement for it.
I remember the boardwalk mall as a kid there was a place on the second floor that made really good sugar cookies I remember spending a lot of time downstairs in the arcade..can you find out how long it’s gonna be open Joey will be open for Halloween??
Wish it wasn't a themed bar. Limits the clientele. Heck, wish it wasn't a bar. When country isn't as popular as it is now, then they'll have to redo everything again.
Bring back Shamrock , Moores, and Casba comedy club.........................new bars don't scream WW.......................40K , well we know chump did the math, lol
Joe, you referenced a “big event” coming up in wildwood the weekend of May 10. Please tell me you’re not afraid to properly call it what it is, ie The TRUMP RALLY. Please respond to this. I was literally about to become a sponsor to your channel but you’ll first need to address why you didn’t just say, “The Honky Tonk Saloon is trying to open on May 10 in time for the TRUMP RALLY”.
They’re actually trying to be open for the classic spring car show that weekend and It just so happens that it’s the same weekend that Trump is coming.
Just like the other big bars that were built in wildwood . Bad economy #1 . #2 maybe for country music weekend it'll do well . But that's one weekend . It's gigantic . Too much overhead . All the country music ppl they're in North Wildwood and it's been proven they ain't going to wildwood . Seaport pier bar , and the 3 bars built at Lincoln and Pacific all doing horribly and I predict the same here . I'm willing to bet on it . and idk what bcmf is
The arcade system for the boardwalk needs to be universal i aint carrying 10 diffrent cards for each arcade and the piers. I do miss the old boardwalk mall but cant wait to check it out next month
