It's officially the unofficial start of the summer here at the Jersey Shore.
The Wildwoods boardwalk buzzed back to life, as families and friends strolled along its length, drawn by the smells of funnel cakes and the vibrant sounds of arcade games.
The amusement rides, from the towering Giant wheel with its beautiful view of the island to the thrilling Great White coaster which sent screams echoing into the air, brought us all joy that summer will soon be here.
Weather-wise, it was quite interesting. The forecast the days prior indicated a cold and wet weekend but they were quite wrong. Instead, we had some hot days with some foggy mornings and evenings. The only real rain we had was Friday and Monday early morning.
A lot happened down here this weekend, some of which we are grateful for our first responders for, but overall it was a fantastic one.
